Outreach = Compassion Ministry Outreach provides 3 things: 01. - Purpose 02. - Rally the church 03. - Leadership equity in your community The magnitude of outreaches are on a sliding scale. Outreaches can be done based on your specific resources. Everyone starts somewhere. Outreach can provide a rhythm to your calendar, giving opportunity for big days. At Guts Church, we take advantage of outreaches on our campus, creating home games. You want to play home games. You win at home.

We supply people with groceries and household items but we also present them with Jesus. WHere The Guts Distribution Center is located on the Guts Church campus.

hitman The Hitman Program reaches outside the walls of the local church. It celebrates the "Hit of the week" in over twenty local high school football programs. Representatives attend weekly practices and bring a challenging word to the team. The student athlete with the biggest hit is given the coveted Hitman t-shirt. Hitman Reps are often found on the sidelines during games, on the team buses for road trips, and in the middle of the huddle pre-game. The season culminates with the Hitman Awards Ceremony. This ESPY-style awards show highlights players from over twenty schools in five different categories. WHERE Reps travel to high school football practice fields on a weekly basis and the Hitman Awards are held on the Guts Church campus. WHEN This program takes place during the football season, beginning at the start of September and finishing in November. WHY The goal is to promote character and intensity on and off the field. Placing a premium on celebrating high school athletes, the Hitman Program is helping to influence the culture of high cchool football - Hit Hard and Love God.

Barefoot Sunday BAREFOOT SUNDAY Year One:.01-2011.02-6,700 pairs of shoes collected Barefoot Sunday is an event designed to rally the church in an effort to stock the Distribution Center with shoes for a year. People attend church wearing shoes and leave without them. Tens of thousands of shoes are collected each year. WHY Barefoot Sunday rallies the church to clean out their closets of shoes in order to supply the Distribution Center with shoes to give away at Friday Groceries and to sell in the Thrift Store. WHERE Barefoot Sunday is held on the Guts Church campus in the sanctuary. WHEN Barefoot Sunday is held on Palm Sunday, during all regularly scheduled services.

Team relief days These are days that unite the church to meet needs in the community, partnering with business and civic leaders. Our team meets regularly with the mayor and county commissioners targeting projects their plans and budgets cannot facilitate. Team Relief Days add ministry and leadership equity to the church s relationship with the city. Where Imagine parks in disrepair, at risk neighborhoods and areas of the community that desperately need attention and you can have a mental picture of where Team Relief thrives. Addressing this need in the city is one of the most powerful tools we have to gain a seat at the table. When Strategic planning for these days should capitalize on other happenings in the church. A prime time for this event is leading into Easter in order to use the event as a platform to invite people to church as a result of the church aiding their community. WHY This event simultaneously rallies the church to do something great in the community while also spotlighting the church in the civic arena as a whatever it takes group of people that is available to help in any capacity.

Guts girls gives back Why This event focuses on giving women the opportunity to give to desperate people in the Tulsa community and provides an incredible opportunity for Guts Church to impact those in need in the community during the holiday season. This is an amazing outreach, an evening which targets women and children in the Christmas season who have suffered abuse, who have loved ones encarcerated, or are addicted to drugs. Local NGO and DHS agencies, helping women and children in need, are selected to be visited by Guts Girls teams. Activities and gifts are tailored to each agency according to their specific need and Guts Girls are given the oppportunity to minister to them personally. Where Women gather at Guts Church to celebrate the season and the event and then travel in teams to the agencies. When This event takes place at the beginning of the Christmas season when needs at local agencies are heightened.
