Theo: Well, sometimes I get really mad or sad. Sometimes I even cry and just give up. LL: I think that is normal, Theo. It is no fun to have a hard time. In our Bible story today, we are going to hear about a letter Jesus friend wrote to some people who were have a lot of bad days. Life was really hard for them everyday, but they had a secret joy that kept them happy even through their hard times. We are going to listen to this story on a CD, but first we all need to put on our imagination caps. Make a motion to put a make believe hat on your head and invite the children to do the same. We are going to pretend that we are all in our very own houses. Let s make our own houses now. With both hands, draw a pretend house around your body and encourage kids to do the same. Great job.
