Singles Conference 2011 5

Greetings from Dr. Julius R. Scruggs, Convention President April 7, 2011 Greetings in the Lord: I am delighted to welcome each of you to the 5th Annual Singles Conference in Huntsville, Alabama. This conference is planned to strengthen the family and affirm singles as they walk with the Lord. Your theme, Living on a Solid Foundation, certainly reflects this position. The single journey can be a grace journey filled with the power and provisions of our Lord. Singles are challenged every day to live their lives on a solid foundation. To be saved, single, and satisfied with Christ unless the Lord changes your status is also a challenge. Therefore, as a single, allow your mind and spirit of Christ to guide your wishes and desires as you walk and live in Solidarity with the Savior. Again, may you have a rich experience of sharing in Word and Spirit as you attend this conference. Sincerely, Julius R. Scruggs, President National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. 6 Singles Conference 2011

Greetings from Dr. George W. Waddles Sr., President Congress of Christian Education April 7, 2011 Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We thank and praise God for your presence at this 5th Annual Singles Conference. Dr. Stan Hillard and his team have done a marvelous job in leading our Congress in this area that focuses on family ministries. We are excited that we have joined in Huntsville, Alabama the home of our great President to share and hear God s Word for singles. Your presence here demonstrates your abiding commitment to Christ and His will for your life. This world is moving all too fast in a direction that is diametrically opposed to the will and the Word of God. Your desire to be saved, single, and satisfied is an awesome testimony to the world of the joys of truly being sold out to God and committed to Him in every area of your life. We encourage you to roll up your sleeves and really dig into the Word of God. Our prayer is that you will be strengthened, encouraged, enlightened, and your lives forever changed in a way that empowers you to give glory to God through your living. In the Bonds of the Spirit, Dr. George W. Waddles Sr., President National Baptist Congress of Christian Education 1460 W. 78th St. Chicago, IL 60620 Ph: (773) 651-3250 Fax: (773) 651-2653 E-mail: Natlcongresspres@gmail.com Singles Conference 2011 7
