I am his widow. 7 WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF YOUR TESTIMONY? 8 The purpose of my testimony is notify the Commission that I have adopted, in full, 9 the testimony of Virginia Smiser. 1o ARE YOU ASKING THE COMMISSION TO ADOPT VIRGINIA SMISER'S 11 TESTIMONY, INCLUDING ALL EXHIBITS, AS YOUR OWN FOR 12 PURPOSES OF THESE PROCEEDINGS? 13 Yes, I am, with the exception of testimony specific to her property in terms of 14 description and direct impact. I will provide this information in my direct testimony. 15 DO YOU CONTEND THAT THIS ADOPTION OF MRS. SMISER'S 16 TESTIMONY WILL RESULT IN AN EFFICIENT USE OF THE PARTIES' 17 RESOURCES, INCLUDING THE COMMISSION'S TIME? 18 Yes, I do. 19 WHAT ROUTES DO YOU OPPOSE? 20 I oppose Routes 4, 9, 13, 17, 17Y and 19 for the reasons set forth in Mrs. Smiser's 21 testimony. I also oppose Links W and 0 specifically. I support the selection of 1
1 Route 11 or 11-Modified or any other route that does not end at Tap 3 or does not 2 use Links W or O. 3 DOES THIS CONCLUDE YOUR TESTIMONY? 4 No. 5 WHAT DO YOU WISH TO ADD TO YOUR TESTIMONY? 6 I want to make sure the Commission is aware that I have a home on the property 7 identified by LCRA as W-001. I understand that LCRA states my home is within 8 326 feet of the centerline of Link W so it did not make the Habitable Structure 9 Inventory. However, I do not want the PUC not to understand that my home exists 1o so close to the proposed transmission line along W. 11 WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD? 12 I want to make sure the PUC is also aware that I have a seasonal barn across the 13 highway from that home that LCRA states is within 54 feet of the centerline of Link 14 W. I also have a gate that sits into the property that is likely within W. 15 WHY IS THIS INFORMATION IMPORTANT? 16 If Link W is 100 feet wide then the edge of my barn is 4 feet from the edge of the 17 proposed Right of Way. 18 IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE? 19 Yes, three more things. I would like the Commission to know that I have included 20 photographs of FM 1888 in the Appendix to my testimony. I want the Commission 21 to know that I want to protect Link 0 because Link 0 goes through my cultivated 22 pasture. Finally, I want the Commission to know that I have an ownership interest 2
1 in several properties located on either side of FM 1888. If W is selected, over 7,000 2 feet of FM 1888 road frontage along my property would be impacted. This would 3 be devastating to me. 4 ARE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS TRUE AND ACCURATE 5 REPRESENTATIONS OF FM 1888, AND IF SO, WOULD YOU LIKE 6 THEM TO BE INCLUDED AS EXHIBITS TO YOUR DIRECT 7 TESTIMONY? 8 Yes as to both. 9 DOES THIS CONCLUDE YOUR TESTIMONY, MRS.
