The LORD said to Moses, Tell the people of Israel that everyone who wants to may bring me an offering...

I want the people of Israel to build me a sacred residence where I can live among them. You must make this Tabernacle and its furnishings exactly according to the plans I will show you.

Tabernacle Instructions The LORD said to Moses, 2 Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give. Exodus 25:1-2 (NIV)

Golden Calf When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don t know what has happened to him. Exodus 32:1 (NIV)

Golden Calf Then the LORD said to Moses, Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have become corrupt. 8 They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt. Exodus 32:7-8 (NIV)

Golden Calf So Moses went back to the LORD and said, Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold. 32 But now, please forgive their sin but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written. Exodus 32:31-32 (NIV)

Renewal The LORD said to Moses, Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. 2 Be ready in the morning, and then come up on Mount Sinai. Present yourself to me there on top of the mountain. 3 No one is to come with you or be seen anywhere on the mountain; not even the flocks and herds may graze in front of the mountain. Exodus 34:1-3 (NIV)

Tabernacle Construction So all the work on the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD commanded Moses... 42 The Israelites had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 43 Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them. Exodus 39:32, 42-43 (NIV)

Tabernacle Construction Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35 Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Exodus 40:34-35 (NIV)
