Compiled by Melanie Stone All scriptures are from the New King James Version unless otherwise indicated. The will of God is found in the Word of God. Physical healing is mentioned throughout both the old and new testaments. Not only does God bring healing to the body, but He also brings wholeness to every area of our lives, including giving life to our spirit, soundness to our mind and health to our emotions. If you have prayed before and not received healing, I want to encourage you not to give up. We don t always have the answers, but I do believe that God does. Do not become accustomed to pain. Do not accept suffering as part of your life. Do not doubt God s Word and do not doubt yourself. The cross of Jesus Christ is more than enough for you. God is able to sustain your health, even into your older years. If you have made past mistakes, God s grace will cover what you have repented of. If you are facing something that seems impossible, all things are possible with God. Whatever your situation - there is no doubt that God wants you to be whole, healed and happy! He loves you. If you need God to make you whole in any area of your life, mediate on these scriptures, believe them to be promises from God to you, and say them out loud, claiming them as your own. I also encourage you to read the verses in their context, watching for the heart of our Father, our Savior and servants of God as they were moved by compassion, a deep great love that alleviated pain and suffering through ministering healing and miracles. God is willing and able to make you whole in every area of your life. NEW TESTAMENT HEALING SCRIPTURES Matthew 4:23-24 (23) And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. (24) Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases, and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 8:3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed. Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (See Matthew 8:1-4) Matthew 8:10, 13 (10) Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! (13) Then Jesus said to the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you. And his servant was healed that same hour. (See Matthew 8:5-13) Matthew 8:14-15 (14) Now when Jesus had come into Peter s house, He saw his wife s mother lying sick with a fever. (15) So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them.

Matthew 8:16-17 (16) When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. (29) And their eyes were opened (See Matthew 9:27-30) Matthew 9:33 When the demon was cast out, the mute spoke (See Matthew 9:32-34) Matthew 9:35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
