July/August 2005 Volume 5, Issue 58 High Holy Days Pages 2-3 An Holy Convocation High Holy Days The Ten Plagues, Part Five Book of The Month The Abraham Foundation 1 2-3 4-7 8 8 An Holy Convocation Leviticus 23:21 reads: And ye [Israel] shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. No matter where in the world Israel is dwelling, hwhy commands all Israel to keep all His holy convocations for ever throughout our generations. Since an holy convocation is such an important observance to hwhy, it is incumbent upon us to understand the command. Therefore, accepting the credibility of Webster s New World Dictionary of the American Language, College Edition, copyright 1958, the word holy is described as coming from God. In the same reference source on page 324, convocation is rendered as a group of people called together by summons; especially, an academic assembly. Based on these facts, holy convocation is a summon or call, coming directly from God, hwhy, for Israel to assemble together at the place where He shall choose to place His name, especially for academic assembly. As an adjective, academic, according to Merriam Webster s 11 th Collegiate Dictionary, copyright 2003, Computer Software, is based on formal study especially at an institution of higher learning. For a second opinion, academic is also defined as pertaining to a college; conforming to set Published by P.E.E.S.S. Continued on page 2

The Good News of hwhy rules, standards, or traditions. On the other hand, assemble, the base of assembly, is cited as to gather into one place, body, or whole (according to Random House Webster s Unabridged Dictionary, copyright 1999, Computer Software). Thus, an academic assembly, essentially, is where study is gathered into one place, and everyone contributes to the body of knowledge as a whole. This study is conducted especially like that of institutions of higher learning--as colleges or universities--and conforms to set rules, standards, or traditions. Further study reveals that convocation is also synonymous to parliament (according to the Roget s Thesaurus of English Words and Phrases, copyright 1937, on pages 251-252, under reference number 696). In The Synonym Finder by J. I. Rodale, copyright 1978, on page 847, parliament is the same as lawmakers. Law, the first syllable of lawmakers, on page 828 of Webster s New World Dictionary of the American Language, College Edition, is described as all divine commandments collectively. The Law is defined as the Old Testament. When all of these substantive facts are analyzed, we can conclude that Holy Convocation is a summon or call coming directly from God, hwhy, for Israel to assemble together--in the place where He shall choose to place His name. At this time, formal study--of all the divine laws made by hwhy as written in the Old Testament of the King James Version of the Holy Bible--is gathered into one place, that everyone may contribute to the body of knowledge as a whole. This formal study is conducted especially like that of institutions of higher learning--as colleges or universities--and conforms to the set rules, standards, or traditions of hwhy. When this body of knowledge is assembled and studied in such a concentrated form, nothing will be restrained from us which we have imagined to do (Genesis 11:6). Being obedient to the laws of God, hwhy, is the only means by which we can live a full, happy, healthy, and prosperous life. Celebration of our Twenty-Fifth Annual Feast of Tabernacles and Holy Convocation is set to begin September 28, 2005 and to end October 5, 2005. Consider this a summon or call coming directly from hwhy to all Israel, as well as to all people with a moral proclivity, to assemble into one place--the Marriott Beach Resort and Marina on Hutchinson Island, in Stuart, Florida--to study the set rules, standards, or traditions of God, hwhy. The Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets Sundown September 14, 2005 to Sundown September 15, 2005 And the Lord, hwhy, spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. (Leviticus 23:23-24). The Hebrew meaning of the word sabbath is a special [holy day] ; memorial is to keep in remembrance ; while blowing is to 2

The Good News of hwhy split the ears with sound; to sound an alarm ; trumpet, on the other hand, is to emit a loud sound. Thus, the Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets is a special holy day set aside every year for Israel to keep in our remembrance to not break the laws of hwhy. In this seventh month, the trumpet is used to sound an alarm, a warning, with such piercing sound that it will, in a figurative sense, split our ears; so much so that it will have an eternal impact or leave a lasting impression upon our minds to always keep the laws of hwhy. On the first day of this seventh month at sundown, you shall have an holy convocation, meaning you shall do no servile work: it is a day or a period of time set aside exclusively for studying the word of hwhy regarding the blowing of trumpets, according to Numbers, Chapter 29, verse 1, which reads: And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you. Use this time wisely and study, O Israel, for it is a day of blowing the trumpets During this month, we are also commanded to keep a day of atonement, a feast of tabernacles, and an holy convocation. Remember our overall theme for our four hundred and fiftieth year here in America is Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord, hwhynb@ @ hwhy. The Day of Atonement Sundown September 23, 2005 to Sundown September 24, 2005 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings (Leviticus 23:27, 29, 31). The Day of Atonement is a solemn occasion observed annually as the only fast day prescribed in our law (Leviticus 16:29-31). On this day, all Israel is required to entreat the Lord, hwhy, that He may cleanse our mind and soul, and free us from the bond of transgressing His laws that we may no longer be separated from His love. During the observance of the Day of Atonement, neither food nor water is to be taken into the body; this is an affliction of the soul. The absence of food and water is for the sole purpose of reminding us that there is more to true life than physical sustenance. Accordingly, on this day, we are to sustain ourselves by nourishing our mind and soul with the word of hwhy, which is the vital essence of true life. With this thought in mind, the hunger and thirst for physical food will be overruled by the consummation and fulfillment that is received through the knowledge and understanding of the reality that we are being cleansed, forgiven, and exonerated for all of our transgressions since the last Day of Atonement. Remember, this day is to be devoted exclusively to fasting and prayer. 3

The Good News of hwhy The Thus saith the Lord, hwhy, Israel is My Son, even My firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let My Son, hwhynb@ hwhy, go, that He may serve Me: and if thou refuse... (Exodus 4:22-23) Ten Plagues of Egypt, Part 5 In part four, we concluded that modern-day Pharaoh-- President George W. Bush-- shall not commit himself to the release of the Messiah, hwhynb@ hwhy, the firstborn Son of hwhy, from the onerous restrictions that have been imposed upon Him by the U. S. Parole Commission. As a consequence of his decision, hwhy shall vex America with yet another devastating plague, according to Exodus, Chapter 8, verse 16: And the Lord, hwhy, said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. In the day of ancient Egypt, hwhy sent His servant Moses to say something unto Aaron. According to the Random House Webster s Unabridged Dictionary, copyright 1999, Computer Software, to say means to state as a judgment. State is defined as to declare ; while declare is to make known or state clearly. The Merriam Webster s 11th Collegiate Dictionary, copyright 2003, Computer Software, describes judgment as a divine sentence held to be sent by God ; and a sentence is characterized as punishment itself. Therefore, hwhy said unto Moses, make known or state clearly unto Aaron that 4 the message he--moses--was bringing him was a divine punishment held to be sent by God, hwhy. In other words, hwhy wanted Moses to establish in Aaron s mind the seriousness of the message. hwhy told Moses to make known or state clearly the message to Aaron so Aaron could understand well that this was not just a punishment, but rather a divine punishment held to be sent directly by God, hwhy, Himself. Thus, Moses made known or stated clearly to Aaron that he was to: Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land,. The expression stretch out is referenced in The Cassell

Concise Dictionary, copyright 1998, on page 1460, as to extend. In the same reference source, on page 510, the word extend means to amplify ; while amplify, on page 45, is to increase; to make greater. Also, in The New Strong s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, copyright 1990, on page 883, rod, in Hebrew (reference number 4294) is fig. correction. The Random House Webster s Unabridged Dictionary, copyright 1999, Computer Software, describes correction as punishment intended to reform ; while reform is to put an end to. History is repeating itself in that another great nation, America, is being plagued with the same plagues as ancient Egypt because of President Bush s rebellion to let hwhy Nb@ hwhy go. Therefore, hwhy has caused his divine punishment, intended to put an end to President Bush refusing to let hwhynb@ hwhy go, to be increased and made greater The Good News of hwhy upon America. And in accordance with Exodus, Chapter 8, verse 16, hwhy is smiting the dust of the land. To understand what smiting the dust of the land means, we shall examine in great detail the words smiting and dust. So as referenced in Merriam Webster s Collegiate Dictionary, Tenth Edition, copyright 1999, on page 1109, smite means to defile ; while, in the Microsoft Encarta Reference Library, copyright 1993-2003, Computer Software, defile is regarded as to corrupt ; while corrupt means to make immoral or dishonest. The adjectives immoral and dishonest are not describing dust in its literal form. Therefore, from a logical point of view, the word dust must serve as a symbolic representation for something else. The something else is identified in the Hebrew translation of the word dust, which is aphar (reference number 5 6083), and it means powder, according to The New Strong s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. Powder, as referenced in the Webster s New World Dictionary & Thesaurus, Computer Soft-ware, copyright 1998, is tantamount to medicine. And medicine is synonymous to medical men; doctors, physicians, and surgeons. So with these established facts, we can conclude that as a divine punishment to President Bush and the American people, hwhy is doing something that is greatly troubling the people: He is delivering the third plague which is causing many of the medical men--doctors, physicians, and surgeons--to be immoral and dishonest. And

the next part of Exodus, Chapter 8, verse 16 explains why, and it reads in part: that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt. that it may become lice. It is a pronoun used to substitute for the noun dust, which we previously identified as the medical men--doctors, physicians, and surgeons. And the word may, in the Chamber s 21st Century Dictionary, copyright 1996, on page 848, is used to express result. All things considered, hwhy is causing a great number of the medical men--doctors, physicians, and surgeons--to become immoral and dishonest and, as a result, they are becoming lice throughout all the land of America. This is serving as a divine punishment held to be sent by hwhy intended to put an end to President Bush refusing to let hwhynb@ hwhy go. The Good News of hwhy A rational deduction of the phrase--become lice--requires diligent study. So we shall begin this study with the word become. In conformity with The Oxford Universal Dictionary, copyright 1955, on page 161, the word become means to come to be (in some state). On page 2005, state is a manner of existing. Accepting the credibility of Chamber s 21st Century Dictionary, copyright 1996, on page 812, louse, the singular of lice, is portrayed as a wingless parasitic insect, which survives by sucking blood of its host. Thus, to become lice when interpreted means that hwhy is causing many of the medical men--doctors, physicians, and surgeons--throughout all the land of America to be immoral and dishonest, such that they have become as wingless parasitic insects, which survive or exist by sucking blood of their hosts. The definition of louse as a wingless parasitic insect, which survives by sucking blood of its host must be deduced to a more intelligible state. Therefore, we shall begin our investigation with the phrase, wingless parasitic insect..., starting with the word wing and then the suffix -less. The American Heritage Talking Dictionary, copyright 1997, Computer Software, describes wing as an arm. Arm, as referenced in the Webster s New World College Dictionary, copyright 2001, on page 76, is indicative of art ; and art (on page 79) is classified as any specific skill ; while skill (on page 1343) is ability or proficiency; expertness that comes from training, 6

practice, or knowledge. And the suffix -less means, without or lacking. In light of these facts, we can conclude that wingless is describing the medical men who are without expertness that comes from training, practice, and knowledge; those who are lacking in ability or proficiency. The next words from the definition to decode are parasitic and insects. On the authority of The Oxford Universal Dictionary, copyright 1955, on 1431, parasitic is a derivative of parasite. And parasite comes from the Latin word parasitus which means feeding. Feed, the base of feeding, on page 685, means to grow fat. In the Random House Webster s Unabridged Dictionary, Computer Software, copyright 1999, fat is characterized as wealthy; rich. So parasitic is describing the medical men who are becoming wealthy or growing The Good News of hwhy rich. Since they are symbolized as insects, this will be our next word to scrutinize. So in accordance with the Merriam Webster s Collegiate Dictionary, Tenth Edition, copyright 1999, on page 604, an insect is a trivial person. In the Webster s New World Dictionary & Thesaurus, copyright 1998, Computer Software, trivial means superficial ; while, superficial, in The Oxford Universal Dictionary, copyright 1955, on page 2082, suggests one that has only the outward appearance of being what is denoted; not genuine. In view of these facts, the phrase, wingless parasitic insect..., can be interpreted to mean that hwhy is plaguing the medical men--doctors, physicians, and surgeons-- throughout all the land of America and causing many of them to take on an immoral and dishonest character. And although they have an outward appearance of being medical professionals--they look like doctors, wear the scrubs of doctors, have on the stethoscope like doctors--inwardly, they are not genuine, meaning they do not possess the claimed training, practice, nor knowledge they profess to have to properly heal or cure the sick. In fact, they care about one thing only, and that is to grow enormously wealthy or filthy rich. And, like lice, they shall continue to survive by sucking the blood of their hosts. Survive by sucking the blood of their hosts is the last part of the definition of louse, the singular of lice, which we will decode in part six of this article on The Ten Plagues of Egypt. 7
