PASTOR EVAN AMO The church office phone number is 704.888.4339. During other times Evan can be reached at 714.397.4832. MUSIC NOTES They ll be lots of music today. First, the youth will be sharing their program of message and song and then the adult choir will share their annual Christmas Cantata. In modern terms, a mash-up is when you mix two or more songs or types of music together. Today the choir will do a Christmas Cantata mash-up. We started to do a cantata we hadn t done in many years called There Is a Bethlehem. It is very good, but a few of the songs didn t inspire us, so we searched several other cantatas from the past to see what we could mash-up and came up with a mixture of three cantatas. We re calling this Journey to Bethlehem because it follows Mary and Joseph s experience as reflected in Matthew and Luke. We hope you enjoy our presentation as we sing to the glory of God and in praise of the gift of Christ our Savior. CAROLING AND CHRISTMAS PARTY A long time Christmas tradition at LPC is the caroling to the shut-ins and then returning for our Christmas party. This Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Come join together as we travel to homes of shut-ins and perhaps a few others to share some Christmas joy in song! We ll come back to the Fellowship Hall by 7:30 and enjoy a time of fellowship. If you cannot make the singing don t miss the party come at 7:30! (Due to Evan and Lauren flying in on Wednesday we will celebrate in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite Christmas food item to share!!! CANDLIGHT SERVICE Save the date and invite friends and family to our traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 6:00pm. CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST LPC Family please join us for Christmas breakfast in the fellowship hall at 9:00am.. Breakfast will be sponsored by the Baucom s and Janice Hill. See you there!!! SENIOR LUNCH BUNCH Come celebrate with the Senior Lunch Bunch on Tuesday at DeAnna s kitchen in Midland. Thank you Glenda Love for organizing this each month.
