Kingdom Empowerment Ministries B.E.T. November 16, 2016 Apostle Emma S. Dickens The Study of Revelation: A Place Like That Apostle s Teachings: Jesus will make you better and not bitter. We are living in the beginning of the rapture, the book of Revelation. The book of revelation foretells your future and your destiny. Your future is a place where everybody will be subjected to Yeshua Messiah. We are going to place where it is going to be all about G-d and His glory. Our future entails giving him the praise and glory. Leadership: Learn to grow up and be mature. Put aside your problems when you come into the house of G-d so that you can effectively receive the word. Revelations 1: 1-6 (KJV) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that
loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen The Holy Ghost in heaven is referred to as the 7 fold Holy Spirit. Entering into the Throne Room Revelations 4:5 (KJV) 5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Fire & Holy Spirit Mixed: In the throne room, around G-d we see fire and the Holy Spirit mixed. In the day of Pentecost, he sent from around the throne the Holy Spirit mixed with fire and it set upon each one of the disciples. If there is a fire where did it come from? Our G-d is a consuming fire. The G-d that be G-d let Him answers by fire. Where does this fire come from? 7 lamps: This lamps are not used for lighting the temple because the lamb of G-d is the light. The lamb will light up the city. So the fire was meant as servitude to G-d. The fire and the 7 fold spirit of G-d fueled each other. The 7 fold spirits are the characteristic of the Rauh Hakodesh. 7 is the # of completions. Around the throne we will see the complete spirit of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the fruit of the spirt. The 7 fold characteristics of the Holy Spirit was revealed in Isaiah 11:2 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 7 Characteristics of the Holy Spirit: 1. Spirit of the Lord 2. Spirit of Wisdom 3. Spirit of Understanding 4. Spirit of Counsel 5. Spirit of Might 6. Spirit of Knowledge 7. Spirit of the fear of the Lord Never Seen Before: There are some things that you are going to see in Heaven that you haven t seen on earth. 1 Corinthians 2:9 Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
Ezekiel s vision of the Throne Ezekiel 1: 14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. He saw running creature and the appearance of the flash of lightning. Gravity was not there and the angels were moving quickly. The angels and creatures can move quicker than the speed of light. There is no gravitation in heaven so beings move faster. John saw lightening too: Many theologians believe that the lightening John saw was the ministering of angels. The angels were receiving commands from G-d and moving so quickly that it appeared as if lightning was flashing. Lightening & Thundering: The lightening and thundering is also an indication of judgement. Revelation The throne of G-d in the heavenly sanctuary shows G-d ruling as our King and Priest. Revelations 4:6 6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. Glass means Transparent in the bible. Glass combined with crystal gives you a transparent visual. You will be able to see through the sea of glass in Heaven. The Sea of Glass is where the overcomers are going to stand. There is a place designated for the overcomers. This place is a wide spread space. In fact, it bigger than our biggest seas here on earth. That means that there is going to be a lot of overcomers in heaven. This also means that there are a lot of other people going through and have to overcome some stuff in the earthly realm. You aren t going through by yourself. You can come through because you have already overcome it is already written in your future. Revelation 7:9 Shows us that all the redeemed will stand before G-d on the glass sea giving glory to G-d. Sea of Glass. What John is looking at is the crystal, sparkling expanse. This is the floor of G- d s throne room Ezekiel saw the same looking Sea of Glass. Ezekiel 1:22-23 22 Now stretched over the heads of the living beings there was something like an expanse, looking like the terrible and awesome shimmer of icy crystal. 23 Under the expanse their wings were stretched out straight, one toward another. Every living being had two wings which covered its body on one side and on the other side
Firmament means the sky. Genesis 1:6-8 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. Firmament: The visible heaven above the earth, what can be see with the human eye. John and Ezekiel both described the sea in heaven as of having characteristics as the sky of earth. Revelation 4: 7-8 7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. 8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The 4 angelic beings/ creatures around heaven 1. 1 st beast looked like a lion 2. 2 nd beast Looked a like calf 3. 3 rd beast had a face of a man 4. 4 th Beast was flying like an eagle o The 4 beast each had 6 wings and had eyes underneath the wings. Zoa: living creatures. This word was translated as beast. However, they aren t ordinary beast. They are an order of angels. There are different order of classes of angels. Levites broke the members into 4 camps. Can the standard be seen in you? Divided into 4 camps. Each of the 4 camps had a standard. The standard was a flag. The flag had a symbol or emblem associated with their father s name. The standard was something that can be seen. Can the standard be seen in you? Can people look at you and see you upholding the standard? The Lord spoke into Moses and Aaron telling them that every man should camp according to their symbol and emblem. The emblem or the flags had an image. o Rubeun- Symbol of a man o Judah- Symbol of a Lion o Ephraim- symbol of an ox o Dan- symbol was the eagle o Around the throne of G-d were the same looking beast as on the flag of the 4 camps with Moses. He tied the old and the New Testament together. The pictures on the flag
o were actually the angelic beast that stood on the glass around the throne. G-d showed Moses a glimpse of heaven. This also mean that each tribe was covered by an angel. Ezekie1: 5-8 (KJV) 5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. 6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. 7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. 8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. 9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. This beings were connected because they carried the throne of G-d. These beings were the cherubims. We know this because G-d dwelt among the cherubims. Psalm s 99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved. o The cherubims were put at the entrance of the Garden of Eden to guard the way. Psalm 18: 6-10 6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. 7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. 8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. 9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. 10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. Psalm 68:17 4 living faces- The 4 living faces gives us Characteristic o Lion- kingship of Christ- King of the Beast- Matthew portray him as the lion o Man- humanity of Christ in his priestly roll King of humanity Mark o Ox- service & sacrifice of Christ King of cattle Luke- the son of man o Eagle- divinity of Christ- King of the birds John the eagle freedom Revelations 4:8-9 8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the
throne, who liveth for ever and ever, 10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Seraphims: These 4 beast had 6 wings- Cherubim have 4 wings. These beast were the seraphim. The Beast main job: One of the beast main jobs was to praise Him without stopping. Why do the Seraphims cover their faces? Theologians believed the seraphim covered their face because they were in the presence of G-d. They also covered their faces to protect Isaiah from seeing just who they were. Isaiah couldn t have looked in their faces or else he would have died. Seraphims main job is to worship G-d. They aren t concerned with anything else. There are many classes of angels but the angels we see here are Seraphims. It appears that they are engaged in the worship of G-d constantly. They also have duties to perform. They are called the burning ones and angels of love. Learn how to worship G-d.When those beast gave honor and praise to him that sat on the throne the 4 and 20 elders fell down, got off their thrones, and threw their crowns at his feet. Get off your throne: When it is time to worship G-d, get off your throne. A throne is anything that makes you feel higher than anyone else. Give back to G-d: G-d won t give you anything until what you got you can give it back to me. When it is time for worship give your job, your family, and your talent back. Taking off the crown was symbolic of taking down high mindedness. They were worshiping G-d because he created everything. When they said, Holy, Holy, Holy, they worshipped him because they and we were created for worship.
