Guy Fawkes night celebrates the time the Houses of Parliament in London were almost blown up with gunpowder, but the plot was foiled at the last minute. Nowadays, we celebrate the night by lighting bonfires and attending fireworks displays. We want you to create a poem based on what Guy Fawkes night means to you. This is an acrostic poem, so use the letters from the word bonfire to start each new line of your poem.
