St. Peter Parish From the Finance and Operations Manager As you can see the Church Air Conditioning project is in full swing. There has been a slight delay as some of the piping components were coming from Texas, which has had severe flooding issues. Also, the electrical service to the church is rather old and must be upgraded for new air conditioners. Eversource, our electricity supplier, is meeting with us this week and hopefully all will be resolved. Donations for this project are always accepted. Pope Tweets @Pontifex Cambridge, MA The ceiling in the tabernacle alcove, behind the temporary wall, has been completely rebuilt and the plasterers have finished. We are now working on lighting and painting before the wall is removed. We will be leaving the door open in the coming weeks so you may inspect the progress. There was a great deal of damage from years of water seepage that needed to be repaired. This area will be re-furbished and open by mid-summer. Tim Harney New Offering: St Peter Book Club We have received quite a few inquiries over the last year of the possibility of starting a book club at St. Peter s. Everyone attending wanted to continue with the topic of our parish identity as we prepare to enter into collaboration with St. John the Evangelist Parish in a year or so. This time, we will consider not only our parish identity, but how we can best use our community s faith, talents, resources, and mission to build up our parish. What do you think?
