Forgive us for harming and taking out our pain on others, denying the holiness of your image within them. Forgive us for shutting out and ignoring the suffering of

our neighbors because we fear it threatens our own good. Pour out your healing upon us, Merciful One. Mend our wounds, reknit our brokenness, and reshape us according to Christ s image. Reassure us of your grace, love, and blessing; in Jesus name we pray. Amen. Kyrie: Hymn 551 Lord, Have Mercy Land of Rest Silent Prayer Assurance of Pardon (responsively) Leader: Hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love and great power to redeem. People: There is forgiveness with God, who alone is to be revered. Leader: People: Wait for the Lord; hope in God s word. The Lord s Prayer (unison) Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. Moment for Mission Jim Wood 3
