SHINE: PROJECTS & GOALS OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship): Reaching the unreached in South East Asia.... $20,000 Use ESL to present the gospel to trained leaders belonging to a people group containing less than 100 believers. With local partners, provide community services, while covertly sharing the gospel and discipling. Provide practical services including health education to street kids and those in rural settings. Establish an indigenous Biblical church movement in the midst of this people group. ONE HOPE Peter and April VanVolkingburgh: Support Equipment for a church-planting initiative... $7,000 Plant a church among the people of Wikwemikong on Manitoulin Island (less than.5% of First Nations people have a saving knowledge of Jesus) Integrate the ONE HOPE Youth Group into the church plant initiative. Supply the church with AV equipment, (computer, mics, speakers, sound board and projector) POWER TO CHANGE/NORTH AFRICA: Vehicle for Discipleship and Member Care Ministry... $10,000 Purchase a good, used 4x4 vehicle for our MET Missionary to: Provide support for travel to teach, disciple, visit, and mentor believers. (There are approximately 3,000 Christians and 12 full-time missionaries in this country of 32 million.) Drive believers requiring vehicular transport to encouraging events (e.g. annual family camp, training seminars). ETHNOS360 (formerly New Tribes Mission) Dave and Judy Wright: Printing of the Mengen New Testament... $20,000 The Mengen people live in spiritual darkness in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. Ethnos Canada is completing final edits of a 20 year translation process in order to print the Mengen New Testament. These scriptures will further the gospel among these remote people and support 3 infant churches in evangelsm. TOTAL PROJECTS... $57,000 ABOVE AND BEYOND: All excess funds will be equally divided among all the projects. If for any reason a Missions Conference Project cannot proceed, the Board, in consultation with the Missions Committee, can use the funds for any other missions project it deems suitable under the circumstances.
