BREAD FOR THE WORLD BREAD FOR YOU Focus: Helping Mothers & Children Survive & Thrive Letter Writing Sunday, April 24 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. & following worship in the pit stop Question: Does letter writing change anything? Has any progress been made? Answer: Progress is slow, but in 1990 more than 12 million children under the age of 5 died from preventable causes. Each year, funding for USAID programs saves the lives of millions of children under age 5 with simple solutions and inexpensive ways to stop the top causes of death. Action by congress at the end of 2015 will increase U.S. support of development assistance for farmers in Africa and elsewhere. The SERRV Spring Catalog for 2016 is available! Check it out & place an order by Monday, April 18! Catalogs are available in the church office.
