COMMISSIONING The Missionary s Vocation General Examination Bishop Hee-Soo Jung Wisconsin Episcopal Area Global Ministries Board President Act of Commissioning and Vesting for Missionary Service Lorraine Charinda Lorraine Charinda is serving as an agriculture specialist in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her call to mission involved an experience with an effective volunteer evangelist in a mission campaign. Bong Dalisay Bong Dalisay is serving as mission advocate for young adult mission service in South Korea. When asked about his calling, he says, Heaven is a state of peace and justice, and I volunteer to be an agent of heaven. Emily Everett Emily Everett is serving with Shade and Fresh Water in Brazil. She credits her Global Justice Volunteer experience as a turning point and has found life, purpose, and joy in serving God cross culturally. Fernando Matsimbe Fernando Matsimbe is responsible for new church planting and discipleship training in Tanzania. His call to ministry and mission came at an early age and was reinforced by participation in a church youth program. Katie Meek Katie Meek is serving as coordinator of congregational development and education in Sierra Leone. For Katie, the spiritual journey is an adventure where God is both a resting place and a driving force in discovery and service. Temba Darlington Nkomozepi Temba Nkomozepi is serving as an agriculturalist in Zambia. He says, I have made it my commitment to contribute to bringing together the perfect environment to grow crops and improve people s livelihoods. 4
Carmen Sheuerman Carmen Scheuerman is serving as a professor of theology in Fiji. For Carmen, mission is participating in what God is doing in the world, and she is honored to be a part of wherever God brings her.
