Jesus is our High Priest and we are His sons. Christians and the Church are not humbled today; they have no constant vision of their Great High Priest in His Garments of Glory and Beauty, consequently there is no aspiration to personal and individual improvement. We gaze instead at the artificial brilliance of the glassy blaze of our own achievements, standards and education. The crying need for today is for a renewed vision of Jesus Christ, our Great High Priest, and the reality of His character in us and an appreciation of the power of His heavenly Ministry.
