Service of Worship Christ the King November 26, 2017 Eleven o clock in the morning Bridging Faith and Learning Christ in Judgment, Florence, Italy, c. 1300 Today we celebrate the eternal Kingship of Christ and the end of the church s liturgical year. In this morning s Scripture readings, the prophet Ezekiel foretells the coming of Jesus as the one true Shepherd, who will gather his scattered flock from all nations. In Matthew s Gospel, Jesus teaches of his second coming in glory, when he will come with majesty and judgment. Those who love Jesus will, as the psalmist sings, worship the Lord with gladness and come into his presence with singing.

The congregation is invited to reflect silently during the prelude as a time of prayer and meditation. The Chapel welcomes families with children. If at any time during the service your child needs a place for active play, please know there is a nursery in the Chapel basement.
