Day 1 January 22 nd, 2017 Arrival Yangon Guests will be met at the Yangon International Airport and transferred to hotel for check-in. Free at leisure the rest of the day until dinner. Overnight at Inya Lake Hotel. Day 2 January 23 rd, 2017 Yangon City Tour After breakfast at the hotel start your full day guided tour of Yangon city. First and foremost you will visit the world famous Shwe Dagon Pagoda. Thereafter drive to the Sule Pagoda which is in the center of the city. After visiting the Sule Pagoda you will take a stroll along the streets and see the colonial buildings i.e. the High Court Building, The City Hall, the Independence Monument etc. Next you will visit the wharf where you can see the daily life of workers coming and going to work from the satellite town across the river. Lunch at a local restaurant. After Lunch visit Bogyoke Market where you will be able to buy souvenir, jewelry, and local products. On your way back to the hotel, drive around the Kandawgyi Park and pass through the Karaweik Royal Barge. Then visit to the reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, which is almost as large as the enormous figure in Shwethalyaung in Bago. In the evening there will be a General meeting and Presentation followed by a gala dinner Accommodation at Inya Lake Hotel, Yangon. Day 3 January 24 th, 2017 Yangon Bagan - Yangon Domestic flight from Yangon to Bagan. From the airport, start your full day Bagan sightseeing tour with a visit to Nyaung Oo Local Market. Then visit to the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda, where the 37 pre-buddhist 'nets' were first officially endorsed by the Barmar monarchy. The 12 th Century originals were spirited away by a collector and are now reportedly somewhere in Italy. Then visit to Gubyaukgyi Temple, Wetgyi-Inn Village between Bagan and Nyaung-U. It was built in early 13th century, on the model of Mahabodhi Zedi. Next stop is Htilominlo situated close to the road between Nyaung U and Bagan, built by king Nantaungmya in 1218 and traces of old murals are also still visible. Take photo around
the temples and visit to Lacquer Ware Factory to watch craftsmen skilfully making this most famous of Bagan handicrafts. Lunch at one of the local restaurants. In the afternoon, visit to Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery with beautiful, well-preserved 18 th century murals. Then visit Nanpaya Temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha's residence. See the four Buddha images in Manuha Pagoda. Then stop at Myazedi Stupa to see Myanmar's "Rosetta Stone", bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Continue to the Myinkaba area and visit Gubyaukgyi Temple, this temple was built in 1113 by Kyansittha's son Rajakumar, on his father's death. The fine stuccowork on it exterior walls is in particularly good condition. Enjoy Sunset at Shwe Sandaw Pagoda (or) Buu Pagoda. Return to Yangon by evening flight. Dinner at one of the local restaurant. Accommodation at Inya Lake Hotel. Day 4 January 25 th, 2017 Yangon Departure Depending on your choice you will either go for: 1. Golf 2. Bago Day Trip 3.
