Testimony of how ministry began MANY YEARS AGO... Share testimony While we were serving in Uganda God showed us a great need... Desperate families everywhere Kids not able to go to school No money for medical treatment No hope in Christ We heard God's call and We stepped out in faith We identified the 20 most desperate families We bought a piece of property an built an office We hired a UG pastor to work w/them God also opened the door for us to buy a second piece a property in a second village Where we will be planting a church and reaching out to the people there. As you saw in the video we gave the people water. Now we want to give them living water. For $20 a month you can help us transform a whole family. EVERY PENNY YOU GIVE WILL GO TO THE FAMILY AND THEIR COMMUNITY SUCH A SMALL SACRIFICE TO MEET SUCH A GREAT NEED We would love to talk to you more about what God is doing after the service but right now let's get into God's word. JESUS IS ALIVE WE ALL NEED TO HAVE A PERSONAL ENCOUNTER WITH A LIVING GOD TODAY - ENCOURAGE YOU TO LIVE FOR JESUS Many people have the wrong idea about being a Christian BECOMING A CHRISTIAN IS NOT ADDING JESUS TO LIFE YOU ALREADY HAVE Like adding a membership to a fitness club it is surrendering everything and MAKING JESUS YOUR LIFE Rom 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. YOU WERE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE 1Co 6:20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. We belong to God Everything we have belongs to God

People have wrong thinking in ANOTHER AREA I have my life My stuff My money And I will give a little to God RIGHT THINKING IT ALL BELONGS TO GOD WHAT DOES GOD WANT ME TO DO WITH IT? How can we do it? Turn to 2nd Timothy 1:8 and 12 PAUL SUFFERED FOR CHRIST For name of Jesus TODAY NOT SAME PERSECUTION- BUT WE DO SUFFER PERSECUTION FOR JESUS - Bible attacked, faith attacked, TODAY YOU CAN TALK ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT JESUS WE ALSO SUFFER FROM Sickness Death Pain HOW WAS PAUL ABLE TO KEEP GOING? How can you keep going? Paul gives us the answer in 2nd Timothy 1:12 2Ti 1:12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day. Paul met Jesus, Walked with Jesus, had a close relationship with Jesus ABIDE WITH CHRIST As Paul committed his life to Christ, he learned to trust Jesus He can keep what you have committed to Him Until that day SAME FOR US TODAY JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, FOREVER GOD KNOWS WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE TODAY KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE GOING YOUR PAST, covered by the blood YOUR PRESENT, in His hands YOUR FUTURE, with Him in glory! AS YOU meet Jesus, Walk with Jesus, have a close relationship with Jesus As You committed your life to Christ, you will learn to trust Jesus YOUR LIFE WILL BE TRANSFORMED
