The Pastors Page Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed! Alleluia! We wanted to take a moment and give thanks to everyone for all their hard work through the Lenten and Easter season. Thank you to Sister Barbara Lee and Scott Boeke for your witness as we faced the cross that led us to Good Friday, piercing the cross with the nailing of the cross. Thank you to all our wonderfully dedicated musicians! Young bell ringers, adult bell rings, Advent Choir, our brass players, and our Contemporary Band members. Thank you to Ginny Sweeton! Thank you for helping to make the Lenten and Easter season so worshipful! From the anthems to all the special music, your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed! Thank you also for all your hard work in the office. From all the bulletins of Holy Week to all the planning through Lent and Easter. Thank you for all you do administratively at Advent. Thank you to all those who worked behind the scenes to make everything flow so beautifully. Thank you Altar Guild, ushers, greeters, acolytes, crucifers, assisting ministers, and counters. Thank you to the Altar Guild for your leadership and service during Maundy Thursday. It was truly a holy night of worship, from the foot washing, to welcoming 6 new communicants, to sharing in the meal, to the stripping of the altar. Thank you to Lynn Reed, Marcy and Sam Jimenez, and the youth group for all your work done at the community egg hunt and for all the setup for the Easter Feaster. Thank you also for your work at the Easter Feaster! It was such a joy to see our youth at work, and thank you to those who have helped to support them in return. Thank you to the Men s and Women s Groups who helped to provide an amazing breakfast. And last, but not least, thank you to the people of God at Advent Lutheran Church! It is such a joy and a pleasure to serve God here in this place. We are truly blessed to call you our family and Advent Lutheran Church our home! God was truly praised here in this place. Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed! Alleluia! Pastor Jason and Pastor Andrea
