Proverbs 10:8 8 The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin. Proverbs 10:10 10 He who winks maliciously causes grief, and a chattering fool comes to ruin. Proverbs 10:14 14 Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin. Proverbs 10:18 18 He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool. Proverbs 10:23 23 A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct, but a man of understanding delights in wisdom. Fools in the Proverbs Proverbs 11:29 29 He who brings trouble on his family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise. Proverbs 12:15 15 The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice. Proverbs 12:16 16 A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult. Proverbs 26:10 10 Like an archer who wounds at random is he who hires a fool or any passer-by. Proverbs 26:11 11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly. Proverbs 26:12 12 Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Proverbs 27:3 3 Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but provocation by a fool is heavier than both. Proverbs 27:22 22 Though you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding him like grain with a pestle, you will not remove his folly from him.
