Young Life: Serving the City of Bloomington, one youth at a time. Thank you for your support of Young Life Bloomington! It is only because of your generous partnership that this ministry continues to impact hundreds of youth in the Bloomington community. As we approach summer, we focus our attention on bringing as many of our high school and middle school friends to camp as we can. Young Life camps promise each kid the best week of your life! This is especially true for our kids, for whom the camp experience and exposure to the story of God is often a life-changing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Again this year, Young Life Bloomington has a great deal of kids who would like to attend camp, unfortunately finances tend to be the number one reason students are unable to go to Young Life camp. Our students are doing the first annual Young Life Bloomington Serve-athon on May 12 th in an attempt to raise $300 per camper for themselves. (Please see the enclosed flier). Unfortunately, the total cost of camp per student (including transportation) is $760, which is far beyond reach for most students and their families. That being said we have a $460 gap to fill in order to bring each student to camp; that s where camp scholarships----and you----come in, by helping kids directly cover their camp costs. You and/or your business/organization can make a significant difference in the lives of youth by helping them experience breathtaking adventures, hilarious programming and the message of God s hope at Young Life camp this summer.
