4 Coat Drive For Excelsior Springs Job Corps Students Excelsior Springs Job Corps Center, a program run by the Department of Labor to provide education and job skills training to individuals aged 16-24 who mostly are at risk students. Many of these students come from homes at or blow the poverty level, foster care and sometimes even homeless. We serve 300+ students which most of these students have very few possessions and many are without winter coats. When I was made aware of the situation I felt certain that TEAM JESUS could lend a hand. Working with the Outreach committee we are asking for gently used winter coats. Our students come in all shapes and sizes but it is my understanding that we are in particular need for larger sized winter coats. These students could also use hats, mittens or gloves and gently used causal shoes (no heels). We need all Donation brought to the church by Dec. 3rd. Thank you TEAM JESUS for helping to make a difference.--kay Hawk Thank You Thank you to everyone who supported the Puerto Rico Mission Trip Bake Sale! Also thank you to those who provided goodies for us to sell We appreciate everyone s generosity! Puerto Rick Mission Trip Team Women's Retreat Find a little rest and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of life. Dates: February 23-24, 2018 Location: Lake Doniphan Resort (Excelsior Springs) Sign up by Dec 31 for early bird pricing - save $15! Visit the Connection Center for details.
