Friday 17 th November 7.00pm Claystation Celebration Event Join us for this special reception and see the shoal of clay fish installed in the Cathedral. This unique sculpture features over one hundred hand-made porcelainpaper clay fish, made by people in Portsmouth from children and toddlers right through to some of our oldest citizens. Each fish is decorated with messages of hope and love by the people who created them. The evening will feature special guests, including Keith Brymer-Jones from BBCs 'The Great Pottery Throw Down'. Friday 24 th November 8.00pm Organ Concert Roger Sayer (Organist & Director of Music, Temple Church, London) Our evening concert series continues in celebration of the completion the new en-chamade Trompete de Maris. This next concert will be given by Roger Sayer. Roger Sayer is Organist and Director of Music at The Temple Church, London, having previously held the same position at Rochester Cathedral. He is also Deputy Chorus Director and Accompanist to the London Symphony Chorus. The programme for the concert includes Bach, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Duruflé, Alain, and more. Music: Missa de Angelis Panufnik 6.00pm Choral Evensong Sung by the Cathedral Choir. 7.00pm Mark s Gospel bought to life at Portsmouth Cathedral Immediately after Evensong, Stefan Smart is putting on a stunning production of Mark s Gospel at the Cathedral. A solo dramatisation of the complete Gospel with an up-to-date setting, plenty of action, many moving moments and not a little humour! There is no charge but there will be the opportunity to contribute to a retiring collection. Stefan Smart is an actor with thirty years experience as a teacher of English and Drama. Over recent years he has put on various productions of St. Mark s Gospel in churches and youth camps in the South of England and abroad, as well as performing on Songs of Praise. Recently he completed a tour of Speakers Corners across the country and was invited to return to some of the venues including St Mary s Church, Lichfield and Bristol Cathedral.

Cathedral Christmas Carol Services A traditional service of lessons and carols sung by the Cathedral Choir. Tis the season. Warm glasses of mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies will be on sale before and after the Carol Service. From 6.00-7.00pm, and after the service from 8.00-9.00pm. On Thursday & Saturday outside on the south front of the Cathedral and in Becket Hall; on Friday outside only. Everyone more than welcome.
