The Helmet of Salvation The Sword of the Spirit Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. You can t save yourself, only Jesus can save you.
Resist the devil Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 Ἀνθίστημι - resist, oppose, withstand, to set one s self against, to stand against. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13

The Word of God The Word of God is inerrant, infallible, indestructible, living, eternal, perfect, holy, pure, immovable, without contradiction, full of creative power. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. I am who God says I am Resist the devil, stand against him and his deceptions and accusations and temptations. He is a pathetic loser. He has no power over me. I am who the Word of God says I am. Not who the devil or religion or others say I am. I am forgiven of all my sins forgotten, I am righteous, I am a child of God, a joint heir of Jesus Christ, I am justified and I am right with God. God s Word is truth, and I will resist the devil and storm the gates of hell.
Battlefield of the Mind For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; II Corinthians 10:4-5 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Proverbs 23:7 If the devil can deceive you and get you thinking wrong, then he can bind you and hold you captive. You must tear down the stronghold of deception.
Hope of Salvation But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, I Thessalonians 5:8-9 The Word of God is the source of our hope. Hope for tomorrow and hope for today. Jesus is my hope. Lose you helmet, lose your hope.

Therefore I am accepted by God or saved. Out of gratitude & love, I obey Him.

We are not Judges Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Matthew 7:1 I am no mans judge, but I am supposed to discern between right and wrong and stand up to or resist the devil.
Confession - Salvation That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:9-11
Confession - Salvation You have to learn to confess who God is and what He is like. Speak the truth. Confess who you are in Christ. A child of God, justified, saved, righteous, holy, a Saint. When you agree with the Word of God and speak it as it is so, there is creative power! This will drive the devil away! You are not God and your words have no creative power, only His Word of Truth can create.
See the Salvation of the LORD And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. They sang and shouted The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. Exodus 15:2-3
3 days later, they were complaining So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? Exodus 15:22-24 They were out of Egypt but Egypt was not out of them. They needed more salvation.
Salvation to the Uttermost Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 God wants to save you from all of the devils influences, schemes, attacks and influences. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Today is the Day of Salvation And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Romans 13:11 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) II Corinthians 6:1-2
