Stewardship of Ministry Dear Parishioners, I have been deeply touched by your generosity and willingness to serve in parish ministry. The commitment you have made to the Gospel through the Stewardship of Prayer, Service and Finance is a tremendous blessing to this parish and has impacted our parish in a very special way. When I look at Stewardship of Ministry I see it as a tribute and a testimony of your generosity. Our parish is what it is today because of your prayers, hard work and generosity. Life places many expectations on each of us and there is never a perfect time to commit to Stewardship. However, it is within the context of our busy lives that God invites us to share our gifts. As Saint Peter tells us through the scripture, As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God s varied graces. I Peter 4 :10 We would like to have current records for each of the ministries, so it is very important that you sign up even though you may have been involved in the ministry for many years. I ask you to please help us by signing up again. I am confident that St. Alphonsus will continue to be blessed because of your commitment to Stewardship. Please take time to read over the many ministries and make your commitment to the ministry of your choice. Thanks for your generosity and for the opportunity to serve you. Sincerely in Christ, Rev. Michael J. Moroney
