Email address is on back of this newsletter Fruit Baskets The Elders will be selling Fruit Baskets again this year. The price will be $15.00 as they have been in the past. There will be a sample basket and order forms in the lobby as you go down to the social room starting on Sunday December 6th and on Sunday, December 13, 2009. Please complete our order form and include a check or cash for your order. If you are writing a check, make the check payable to First St. John and mark on the memo line Fruit Basket. The deadline for order in fruit baskets will be Sunday, December 13, 2009 and pick up will be Sunday, December 20, 2009. Thank you in advance for your order.

We end the year in celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior. I look forward to God blessing us in new and different ways as we go into the future. God is Good. Join us in celebrating the birth of Christ at one of our Christmas celebrations in our historic building. Blue Christmas Service on December 20 at 6 p.m. Family Christmas Service with Nexus United Church of Christ on December 24 at 5 p.m. Traditional Midnight Service on December 24 at 11 p.m. Bring your family and friends. The ECHO Page 3 Partnering with Partners in Prime As we look ahead to our move to Partners in Prime in the Spring, we can look ahead to the opportunities that they offer adults in their prime (55 and older). While we will be renting Sunday morning worship space and office space, a membership to Partners in Prime entitles individuals to much more. Dancing, exercise, billiards, cornhole, quilting, crafts (which includes sewing), cards, bingo, singing and trips (day and overnight) are some of the regular activities offered. Educational opportunities, heath screenings, volunteer opportunities and assistance for special needs are also a part of the membership. Lunch is available for $3.00. Membership is $20.00 per year (individual), $35.00 (couple). If any of the activities are of interest, you can sign up 3 ways. In person: Hamilton s temporary location, Grace U. Methodist Main St. by Marsh Mon-Fri 9-4 Fairfield location, 536 Patterson Blvd Fair Plaza - Closed Tuesdays By mail: Pick up an application at church, complete and mail in. By computer: at www.butlerseniors.org If you d like a membership, but need assistance, call the church office or Pastor Sam. Beginning January 1, individual membership will increase to $30.00 and couples to $50.00. Join in December for the $20.00 rate for 2010.
