Good Morning and Welcome! Prayer before worship: O Lord, we proclaim "Jesus is Lord!" and believe the promise, that there is life in your holy name. Preserve us in patience and steadfastness that we may be faithful servants of Your Word and by your grace reap the harvest of righteousness. Hear us, Lord Jesus, for your name s sake. Amen. This Week s Prayer List - remember these in prayer: We pray for a portion of Zion s family and friends Lydene Vinkemeier; Kurt, Sarah, Taylor, Luke and Nicholas Vinkemeier; and Jesse Waller. We pray for those under the care of a physician, undergoing treatment and therapy; for all difficulties and the ability to meet obligations and a strong faith for every need. Congregation Christmas Potluck and Christmas Cookie Sale The congregation potluck will be held December 3 rd following the church service. The theme this year is snow globes. If you have any globes you would like to display, we would be happy to display them. Please drop them off in the meeting room by December 2 nd. The Zion Ladies Aid/LWML is hosting its annual Christmas Cookie Sale on December 10 th following the church service. All ladies aid/lwml members are asked to contribute six dozen cookies for the sale. Your cookies may be brought to the kitchen on Saturday, December 9 th from 9-11 AM. Congregation members are also invited to bake cookies for the sale, if they wish. Celebrate His Harvest! Dec. 1 @ Mayer Lutheran High School This annual fundraising event is a great time to gather with others who also feel strongly about the work done through ML. Ticket deadline is November 21 (www.celebratehisharvest.org). Mayer Lutheran welcomes contributions.
