At the close of the service, please call for your child. Both centers are located upstairs, first hallway on the left. As a courtesy, please switch your cell phone & pagers off or to silent mode. Welcome to worship of the living and Triune God! Today Pastor Michael will begin a summer series that focuses on the miracles of Jesus. So this morning we will start with the first miracle when Jesus turns water to wine at the wedding feast in Cana as found in John 2. Next week, Pastor Les Kuiper will be leading us in worship, please make him feel welcome. This morning we will also participate in the Lord s Supper. All those who are truly sorry for and repentant of their sins, trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior, and desire to serve him as Lord of their lives are welcome to partake of the elements. This meal is a sign and remembrance of the body and blood of Christ himself, given for us. May you take joy and delight in his grace and mercy. Please pray the Synod 2017 and the delegates as they continue to meet this week at Trinity Christian College in Chicago. You can follow the happenings of Synod online at: www.crcna.org/synod Pastor Michael and his family be gone for family vacation June 13-26. If you have a pastoral need during that time, please contact your Shepherding Group Elder and Deacon. This vacation was made possible, at least partly, by the generous financial gift our family received from you all last Fall for Pastor Appreciation Month. We are excited to use that gift for something that our whole family will enjoy and remember for a long time a trip to see the Grand Canyon and the ocean two things our kids have never seen. Thank you all and may God bless you while we are away. Thank you for your most generous giving during the month of May 2017. The budget amount was $30,0667. The deacons also thank you for your gifts offered last week, June 4. The General Fund total was $9,358 and the offering for Denominational Missions was $1,380.12. Your offering next Sunday, June 18, will be received for Community Christian School and June 25, for our Youth Group/SERVE.
