Midweek Bible Study is held on Wednesdays @ 7:30pm in Bldg. 3. The IPRAISE Student Prayer LINE has resumed at 7:30pm on Sunday evenings. Join us for 5 minutes of prayer to start off your school week. PRESERVING THE FOREST 2016-2017 Nehemiah 2:17-18 (NASB) - Then I said to them, You see the bad situation we are in, that Jerusalem is desolate and its gates burned by fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem so that we will no longer be a reproach. ONE GREAT SEASON OF GIVING GOAL: To receive $759,000 by Saturday, July 17, 2017 1,200 members submit at least $10.00 per week above and beyond their normal tithes for the 50 weeks between July 17, 2016 and July 17, 2017 to pay for additional campus repairs and renovations (e.g. Genesis Room, bathrooms, parking lot, etc.). Greenforest is partnering again with the Soul Project to collect new and gently used shoes for our brothers and sisters in Ghana. Now through November, members are encouraged to drop off shoes in the collection barrels on the church back patio. Over the past 2 years, Greenforest has donated over 4,000 pair of shoes. Our goal this year is to collect 2,000 pair which will be delivered to Ghana in mid-december, just in time for the Christmas holiday. Thank you Greenforest for your continued support of this very important project. The Fellowship Team is sponsoring a trip to the National Museum For Civil & Human Rights {downtown Atlanta} on Saturday, October 29th. You may purchase your tickets at the Museum or in advance online. Transportation is available. Please sign up in the church office. Seats are limited. We will depart at 12noon & return around 5pm. Lunch will be at the CNN Center. Costs: $16 general admission & $14 for seniors, students & military. The Family Ministry of Deacon Jesse Harris will meet on Sunday October 30th after the 10:45am worship service in Room 12. The George O. McCalep, Jr. Dance Ministry Orientation for new members has been rescheduled for Tuesday November 8th. Our membership drive continues until this time.
