The Punjab area and roads was very crowded. There is all over the shops around the road. Our driver stopped the car on the road when Guruji said to him. Guruji bought some water for us and cold drinks for Mam. Now we were in the Haryana state. It was little bit clean than the Punjab. So on Haryana and Chandigarh road there was a restaurant. It s called Mirchi restaurant. It was not so beautiful from out looking but it s so beautiful from inside. There were many paintings of Mirchies inside the restaurant. It has air condition. Guruji and Mam saw the menu book and ordered for Tandoori roti, Dal makhni, mix vegetable and some Russian salad. We also preferred for some Chutney. After the finishing the food we paid our bill and back to our cars, our driver started to drive the car. After short time I felt that our car was flying at the highway. Day 2 At Raj Ghat. On 27-3-10 we did tour inside Delhi in Same Car. We started the tour at 7:30in the morning. First we visited Raj Ghat. Rajghat was the place where Mahatama Gandhi burnt after his death. He was shot on 30 January 1948 by Nathuram Godsy. It is very big place and many people visit in each day as remember the great Gandhi. It was quite crowded on that day by tourist and students group.there were many shady trees. Guruji took our pictures. I felt very happy. I also thought and prayed that I will become a follower Mahatama Gandhi.. There were many flowers and big park.. We started roaming around the tomb of Gandhiji. We all prayed there for few minutes. Then we came back from there. Of course we played on the park and took lots of photo then we went to Gandhi Museum. The Gandhi Museum. I was surprised to see the rock cart in front of the house and I looked for some minute, it is very special for me. After we entered the Museum I was very happy to see it, because I never visited such like this museums before. We saw the old things of Gandhi ji. We saw his utensils, clothes, torch, pen, pencil, artificial teeth and books etc. We also saw his charkhas and clothes made by the charkhas. There are stitching machines also. We saw the pictures of many leaders and Gandhi s familiars. There also have the model of his birth house, train and his office. It is very interesting to see his clothes, watch and Glass. One Gentle man explained about the life of Gandhiji and his activities. We realized that How thoughtful, Great and compassionate heart of Mohandass Karamchand Gandhiji. We also heard the voice of
Gandhiji. His voice was very sweet. I felt that he is talking with me. By seeing his clothes which has blood and the bullet, I became very emotional. My eyes filled with magical glow to see the Gandhiji s museum. Gandhiji was very great person. Yes indeed He is the Father of the nation. Indian leader Mohandas Gandhi fought for India s right to govern itself. In 1947 Gandhi s efforts brought an end to British rules in India. Day 2 at Qutub Minar
After visiting the Museum we went to the Qutub Minar. It is very beautiful place and Qutb Minar victory tower. The sandstone and marble tower was made by Qutubuddin Aybak, the Muslim founder of the Delhi Sultanate, and his follower. The tower has five stories, each with a balcony. I was surprised to see the beauty of tower and how height. It has 73 MT or 240- FT. I believe every visitor want to go top of the magical tower; unfortunately no one can go now due to one foreigner Lady Mistake. Few years back the Lady jumped from top of tower as suicides herself.stopping to go up for every visitor by One Lady bad behavior is not fare I believe. We took lot of photo there and it was around lunch time. I was quite Hungry but very shortly we stop for lunch. It was very funny that our Driver took a Restaurant which is not looks like fancy. Guruji asked to driver is this expensive? The Driver told us no, this is not an expensive and this is one of cheaper, then we got out from Car. We felt that we were VIP as the restaurants Guard opening our car doors and welcoming us. We sat on the Chair and looked Menu. It is so expensive and we could not eat there. We all were looking each other. Oh what do to do now. Some of us told we should drink something and then go, but everything is expensive. We decided not to eat there and we came out. We looked for a small Dhaba and we found it nearby. After few minute the driver came with very unhappy face. Guruji told him why you took us in this restaurant. He told to Guruje this is cheap one and by you are not eating in restaurant I had to pay 150 Rs other way I am free as driver. The Dhaba was nice and very good food. It is very cheap.
Day 2 at Lotus Temple. The lotus temple is the religious place. We felt that all the religion of the world is well- come to pray inside the lotus temple. This lotus temple has 27 petals made up of the marble. It has 9 pounds they seem like the swimming pool. Speaking and photography in the temple is prohibited. I was fully impressed of that place because I had not visited such beautiful places in my life. I became a tourist in my life at first time. Tong Len gave us opportunity to know about the history of India.I was very glad to see this temple. This temple was designed Iranion- Canadian in 1986 by Febi burz Sahba.it is build by the donation. This temple is very famous. I was very surprised to see the beauty of that place.
Taj Mahal Day 3 at Taj Mahal. I considered the Taj Mahal is one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. It is covered in white marble and set in a garden with pools of water. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan began building it in 1632 in memory of his wife, who had died the year before. To build this miracle House, it took 22 year by 20000 workers. I have learned about Taj Mahal in school as relating to my history subject, but it was just reading and seeing a picture. In this our Tour I have seen the building and it is quite different than read and seeing picture. Of course I was very surprise how big this temple and well surrounding protected. There also lot of Tourist. Guruji took our pictures. Our school teachers told us that the main architecture who designs it as a unique had cut of his hands by the Emperor, but our guide told us that it is not true. The Emperor pay 5 times more and he demanded not allow to design like this house. We also saw the tomb of the emperor and his wife surrounded with an octagonal wall made up of marble. Our guide told us that under the Taj Mahal there are 4 well with lots of water. He also told us that Taj Mahal is fall down at the angle of 2 degree. It seems like that the Taj Mahal looks equal from all the 4 sides. We also saw the Agra fort. Many people believe that the emperor was imprisoned in this fort.. Then we went to the craft shop. One people making the craft by the different colors of stones and the Marble, we wanted to buy little toys but it was very expensive for us, however it was very interesting to see the craft as using same technique and material of Taj Mahal.
I felt Agra City is quite unique, they use a lot of electronic Van and CNG for Buses and Rikshok. Even it is far from Rajasthan there also has Camel. We were very excited to ride Camel Car. The Advantage to use these kind of things would be nice for Global warming problem or climate Change as I understood through my Science subject in school. Yes we had a good day and long day. We took same car from Delhi to Agra as one day trip. Fun Deeds of the Tour First we have to say that Delhi is too much smelly from outside but inside of Delhi is very neat and tidy. When we reached the Delhi there were lots of Tibetans. First we had thought that we had reached in the Tibet. But when we lived for two days then we feel that we were in the Delhi. We had done so much fun. Some of us had done so many jokes and at least some of us had broken our tea glass. One of great fun or funny is that while we were going to India Gate, we took Metro and it was so surprise or strange to enter the electronic door at security checking area. The Metro is so big and it is like air bus and fully automatic door. To work on electronic ladder was so funny on first time. Some of us also nearly fell down but nothing happens. The station is so clean and very rush. We get out at
Centre Secretary which is close to India Gate and Raj Path Bhawan where the president lives. We could not go closer to Raj Path Bhawan due to security reason and it was also getting dark. The India Gate is magnificent and lot of people there. We took lot of photo and played on the park. The Last day In Delhi was also quite fun. We visited University of Delhi and we walk through it. It is so big university. We also talked some of us will go this university. After that we went to Caunght Place for shoping. We took again the Metro and we much more confident than first time. We went again and again on the electronic ladder but is very fun. We also gone in Mcdonnal Café for just experience, it is quiet clean and crowded, it is also expensive, but we like it. We left from Delhi in evening as night journey to Dharamsala. We stopped at Haveli Restaurant for Dinner. Haveli restaurant is quite luxury, but we gone there for learning table manner and having experience with rich. The restaurant is fully designed traditionally Punjabi style. We all the children were very happy and we had great experience. The Tong- Len really gives us great opportunity to socialize. Our deepest thanks to Tong-Len and its supporter.
