The stones of the wall will cry out, and the beams of the woodwork will echo it. Habakkuk 2:11 (NIV) JULYW 1-3, 2015 F EDNESDAY RIDAY The Fifth Episcopal District CHRISTIAN EDUCATION SUMMIT Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel To the The 5 Las Vegas, Nevada

Bishop Theodore Larry Kirkland Supervisor Mary L. Kirkland Dear Fifth District Family and Friends, As we prepare for A Call to the Wall 5, I write this letter with both a sense of excitement and trepidation. I am excited about the program we have planned for you, but at the same time I am aware that this is my last opportunity to host and plan this epic event as your Episcopal Servant. It is my hope that every Presiding Elder, Pastor, Adult, Young Adult, and Child will be in attendance at the Christian Education Summit, and ready to participate in every facet of this event. Your efforts and support are vitally needed for the success of this venture. I thank Dr. Timothy Tyler, our Fifth District Dean, and his staff, for putting together a quality line up of preachers, teachers and instructors for A Call to the Wall 5. In keeping with the theme: Stones of Justice Speaking Truth from the Wall, this years Christian Education Summit will provide a meaningful intersection between faith and social justice. Again, I urge everyone to plan to be in attendance at A Call to the Wall 5. I look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas on July 1st 3rd, 2015. Yours in the Faith, The Right Reverend Theodore Larry Kirkland Presiding Prelate, Fifth Episcopal District Chairperson The Reverend Dr. Timothy E.
