Vision/Mission Statement Our Parish Vision We at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish are called to follow Jesus, to gather all people around the Heart of Christ in the Eucharist and the Word of God, and to be disciples in today's world. Our Mission With Mary, we seek to know Christ better and to make him better known through our words and actions. 3

Supporting Plans for Goal 1 Be a recognized leader in inclusion by our support of our parish cultures 2015 commitment Continue to expand our parish representative cultures participation in the October IHM Parish Festival. Build on the success of our first annual festival. All ministries Schedule a New Parishioner event welcoming families to the parish. Have the ministries help introduce parish activities to this group to show them opportunities for involvement. Hospitality Ministry Expand the Trilogy Meet and Greet event to other parish neighborhoods promoting IHM Parish staff community relations with residents, Parish Priests and Deacons in attendance. Supporting Plans for Goal 2 Become more focused as a recognized leader in growing as a Stewardship Community 2015 commitment Drive the Diocesan Capital Campaign for 2015-2018. Led by Pastoral Council, lead all Ministries to success meeting our goal. Continue the development of the IHM Parish website for the parish and ministry information. Expand the use of this web site by all ministries for a greater use of the IHM Web facility as the parish information data base. All ministries ongoing Develop a long range parish facility plan. Cover current operational needs and long range solutions meeting those needs. Parish Council and Finance Council Schedule a year end Ministry Appreciation afternoon event to recognize 2015plan accomplishments. Pastoral Council 6

Become more focused as a recognized leader in growing as a Stewardship Community 2015 commitment Have a Parish Council member attend a meeting at each ministry to present Plan 2015 to the members for input to the council plans as well as promote the ministries participation in Plan 2015. Pastoral Council to continue this very success process in 2015. 7
Supporting Plans for Goal 3 Be the Catholic Resource Center for services in the Brentwood community 2015 commitment Continue to expand the Social Service awareness programs and expand the annual event to include more area resource groups available to help parishioners and guests. This will help them know what services are available and where they are located. Promote active participation and support by all IHM parish service ministries. All ministries 8
Supporting Plans for Goal 4 Be a more united Parish 2015 commitment Establish a procedure to publish an annual report for the parish, that recaps the results achieved in support of our current year annual plan and as well as publishes the next year s plan. Publish this report in April after next year plan development. Publish the 2015 Annual report in 2016 Continue to promote the use of the Website as a method to publish the list of parish events. All ministries and Councils Schedule the current year Ministry Faire to include a potluck and have ministry signups as well as information available at the faire. All ministries and Councils Conduct Parish meetings to discuss IHM Parish goals for next five years. Parish Council 4Q 2015 Develop and publish Parish 5 year Goals and Plan 2016. Tracking/Reporting Process Plan Review Process and Metrics for Actions and Expectations Ministry Plan progress will be reported by the Ministries to the Pastoral Council. This review process will be managed by the Parish Council and then reported on an annual basis as part of the Parish Annual Report. 10
