Sacred Heart School News What a great day for Sacred Heart School last Sunday was! Thank you to all who bought tickets and/or volunteered to help with our Annual Barbecue and Kiddie Corner! Special thanks to Co-Chairpersons Danelle Patterson and Michael de la Garza of Mac's Barbecue. They did an awesome job of organizing, preparing, and serving that delicious BBQ chicken & sausage! Our parent volunteers brought in sweets for the Sweet Shoppe and helped out at the Parish Hall, and the Sacred Heart Youth sponsored the Kiddie Corner so all went smoothly. Thank you, Gloria Scott, for helping us get ready and Troy Cady for taking charge of the Youth's activity. May God bless all who contributed to this Annual Fundraiser. MISSION TRIP TO CHILDREN S MISSION IN MEXICO Today, the Church throughout the world prays for vocations. Will you make a special effort to ask the Lord for more vocations to priesthood and religious life? Pray for the priests who have ministered to you throughout your life, both living and deceased. Keep our parish priests in your prayers throughout the week. Encourage your children, grandchildren, or other young people to consider a vocation as a priest or religious brother or sister. Pray a rosary for more young men and women in our diocese to respond to God s call.
