Our next pastor must possess those biblical and spiritual qualities as outlined in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The candidate must be a born again baptized believer in Jesus Christ and have the ability to fulfill the spiritual needs of the congregation through visitations, prayer, conducting weddings and funerals and administering the Ordinances of the Church. We are seeking a visionary with strong leadership skills to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teach sound Baptist Doctrine, engage in pastoral care, direct Christian growth and development and can execute the Great Commission for increasing the Kingdom of God. The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church has been in existence for over 80 years. Currently, the active membership is approximately 625 and there are 20 ministries. Our Church is committed to fulfill the church mission: "Strengthening the Spiritual Connection." It seeks to attain this through worship, the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, evangelism, missionary endeavors, teaching of sound Baptist Doctrine and Christian Education. Qualifications: > Must be a licensed and ordained minister in the Baptist Faith > Minimum of five years of pastoral experience > Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university (preferred) > Theological Seminary Training > Effective communications skills (written and verbal) > Growth Oriented and Pastoral Care Capability > Demonstrated accomplishments in the ministry as pastor > Demonstrated financial awareness and responsibility > Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a congregation across all ages and gender > Committed to continuing education and development > Ability to effectively teach the Word of God > Visionary with sound judgment and discernment
