A hundred dollar check was given towards the basket raffle for the festival. Michael Pappas won the fall wreath raffle. Flu shots were given to those in need. Parish Council News GREEK FOOD FESTIVAL The first Greek Festival in New London took place 65 years ago in the lower level of the Church. Over the years, through the love and dedication of countless parishioners, the festival has continued to grow. Today it is the largest Ethnic event in New London County serving thousands of meals, mouth watering pastries and a taste of Greek culture. Marcia Wenzel and Julie Vangel are the chair people. All members are asked to bring in refreshments that day. The Community Christmas Card will also go on sale on November 5 th Please sign up in the fellowship hall. The cost is $20.00. The last day to have your names be placed on the card is Dec. 3 rd. Please see the order form in this Bulletin. JoAnn Ballassi and Marcia Wenzel are chair people. The Angel Tree will appear in the Church Narthex on November 12 th. We have chosen Care and Share of East Lyme to assist us. Please select as many angels as you d like. Gifts should be WRAPPED and the angel attached to the item. They should be brought to Church no later than Dec. 10 th. Thelma Hunter and Paulette Sferrazza are chair people. Once again we are having our Holiday Pastry fundraiser. Chair people, Penny Maistros and Menia Mustakis, will announce baking days. Order forms will be available at the pastry booth at the Food Festival and in this Bulletin.
