Jesus Right Hand September 2016 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 (NKJV) We greet you in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a beautiful morning here. The birds are singing, a gentle breeze is blowing, our Father is on His throne, Jesus is in our hearts and the Holy Spirit has already brought us peace and comfort for the day. It is going to be a great day because of the price Jesus paid on the cross for us. If we will only be still and listen, the quietness will penetrate our soul, and in that stillness we can hear the voice of God. We need to hear from Him each and every day, for it is the only place of truth in this world. However, the beauty of such a morning is not a typical scenario in so very many places in this world. We are aware of many going hungry, the devastating loss of jobs or other problems that have overwhelmed them. We think of those that are being abused and misunderstood and the huge price that many Christians worldwide are paying for their faith. This ministry is aware that big things are going to happen just as the Bible has foretold. When God is taken out of the picture in homes and schools, it brings judgment down upon us. Why? Because we have removed the ONLY one who has the power to protect, the power to do anything on our behalf. Great natural catastrophes have been taking place and they continue to build at this time. The protective hand of God seems to have lifted off of America. However, we want to offer you hope and call you to look UP. God has promised to take care of His children even in the worst of times. If you say, The LORD is my refuge, and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:9-12 (NIV) In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty. Psalm 37:19 (NIV) A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. Psalm 91:7-8 (NIV) The 91 st Psalm is a good portion of Scripture to read every day because it promises the ultimate protection for a child of God through Jesus Christ our Lord. These promises hold true regardless of what tries to discourage us or make us fearful. There are so many more verses of protection. God sums it all up as He says: "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19 (NKJV) 1 Continued on Page 2

Continued from Page 1 So how do we get ourselves in line with His Word to receive these promises? We have a big part in walking in the safety that God says is ours. The Bible speaks about this in John 14:1-6 when Jesus was talking to the disciples about His going to Heaven. Thomas said to him, Lord, we don t know where you are going, so how can we know the way? Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. There are three very important steps to assure God s promises for us like the ones mentioned: We need to believe that Jesus lived, died and was resurrected for us, We need to ask Him to forgive all our sins, and We need to invite Jesus into our hearts. This is what we need to do in order to get our ticket bought to Heaven. Then Jesus will come into our life and will encourage us and give us the strength to overcome all we face here on earth. Understanding the Bible becomes so much easier as He helps us to understand His ways. The promises of safety are for God s children that have made that commitment. We believe that God s Word is truth and that He will do what He said He will do. That is FAITH. Sometimes we have a longer wait than other times and sometimes prayers are answered quickly. It takes faith to believe His Word even if we don t see the things we have asked for. Hebrews 11:1 says Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (NKJV) We want you to have that peace; a peace that can only come from living a life that has allowed Jesus to come inside to guide and direct their daily lives. Learning to be still and allow God to speak to us through His precious Holy Spirit is a step we are all still learning. As we sit on the swings in our back yards, enjoy the quiet times of the day on our decks or even go for an early morning walk before things get busy, we are all making an effort to be still and let Him speak to us. Can it come through the gentle breeze and the birds singing? Yes. It can come in many different ways. It s when the stillness begins to fall that we can experience a peace beyond measure. These are the times when He is so very near. Psalm 46 talks about a troubling time when earthquakes shake and mountains are moved, a time of turmoil and tribulation that would literally cause fear on mankind. But in the midst of that Psalm, God says so clearly and simply, Be still and know that I am God. No matter what happens in this world that would shake us to fear, restlessness or worry, God has our backs and will bring us through if we have asked Him into our heart. Jesus died on the cross to make it possible to learn to trust and obey Him and have the ultimate victory in all things. The prayer to pray in order to be saved from all that wants to hinder us is on the next page of this newsletter. Get quiet for a moment, and then pray it out loud. Look up, and rejoice for God cares for you! We sincerely and honestly love you all through Jesus Christ our Lord. 2

Prayer of Salvation Dear Heavenly Father: I have come to You asking You to make me a true child of God. I know that I m a sinner and I ask You to forgive my sins. Romans 3:23 tells me all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. I want Jesus Christ to come into my heart to give me a purpose, a peace and victory in my trials and challenges. I want to live eternally with You in Heaven. I believe that Jesus lived and died on the cross and was resurrected for me. You said in Romans 10:9-10 that If I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, that I will be saved. I want to be an overcomer in all things instead of living a defeated life in many things. Thank You for loving and saving me. In Jesus Name, Amen If you prayed this prayer out loud and believe what you just prayed, that makes you a child of the Most High God. You have been born again, meaning that every sin that you have ever committed was taken away since you asked Him to forgive your sins. You are truly a new person in Christ Jesus. You have got your ticket bought to Heaven since the Bible says in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV) The abundance of blessings received at Jesus Right Hand in the past few months has been so overwhelming. We want to take the opportunity to give God the glory for working on our behalf and on the behalf of those we serve. Only through God, and the love and generosity of those who support us could we be so abundantly blessed and equipped to serve those in need! Prayers and financial blessings from our donors Volunteer efforts for our day-to-day and weekly outreach efforts An abundance of nutritious food for times of disaster An increase of weekly donations from Trader Joe s for our Fresh Food Giveaway every Monday afternoon Donations of fresh produce from local gardens Generous donations from Osceola Foods of meats for our food pantry Beautiful new and like-new clothing to fill the racks of our clothing closet Because of God working through you, we have been able to help more people than we ve ever helped in the history of this ministry with spiritual and physical needs. THANK YOU! 3

Recipes of the Month Cornbread Bean Bake 1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. minced onion ¾ c. ketchup ¼ c. water 1 can pork & beans Brown ground beef & drain. Meanwhile, in a bowl mix other ingredients and add cooked ground beef. Put in a sprayed baking dish. Prepare cornbread mix according to box directions and spread on top of mixture in dish. Bake at 400 until cornbread is completely done. You can add a little molasses or brown sugar to the pork & beans if you prefer a slightly sweeter taste. Lay out a double layer of meat and spoon a strip of the stuffing toward one end; roll meat around mixture. Place in a lightly greased baking dish with seam side down. Continue until you ve layered the bottom of the pan with the rolled meat. Prepare the sauce by melting the butter/margarine in a sauce pan. Add flour and stir until incorporated. Slowly add the chicken broth and milk while continuing to stir. Add parmesan cheese, garlic and other desired seasonings. Drizzle sauce over the cannoli and bake covered at 400 until hot and bubbly. Mashed potatoes mixed with cheese and seasonings can be substituted for the stuffing, however wait to add the sauce until the last five minutes of baking. Any type of thicker cut deli meat can be used for this recipe but we created this recipe using the abundance of chicken breast slices we have on hand at the ministry. NEXT FREE CLOTHING GIVEAWAY Saturday, Oct. 22 nd from 9am - noon In closing We just want to take this opportunity to let everyone know once again how very precious and special each and every one of you are to us here at Jesus Right Hand. Each time you come through the door it brings us such joy and encouragement. We are getting an opportunity to know more people every week as we see this ministry reaching out farther than we could ever imagine. We look forward to Monday afternoon for our Fresh Food Giveaway when we are able to see many of you face-to-face, give you a hug and have the privilege of praying with you. Our Tuesday morning fellowship has been a precious time in the Lord as we ve grown closer to each other and to the new people who have come into our ministry. And Sunday evenings have seen miraculous answers to prayer as our intercessory prayer team prays for local, national and international needs. As our needs have grown, God has been faithful in meeting those needs without fail. Every single donation that comes into our ministry is deeply appreciated. From the change dropped in the can during our Monday giveaways to the blouse donated from one of our readers, it demonstrates that you have thought about us and what God is doing through this ministry. It s the little things that often go unspoken, such as those who faithfully bring egg cartons and supply us with the plastic grocery bags for the giveaway, to those who drop off a jar of peanut butter or even just stick their head in the door just to say Hi. A banner is displayed in our waiting area that states This is a People That Love Center. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to love you. May God be glorified in all you say and do! 5
