Harvest Bible Chapel - Davenport Children s Ministry Internship Opportunity Profile
Harvest Bible Chapel - Davenport is located in Davenport, Iowa - part of the Quad Cities metropolitan area on the mighty Mississippi River. In early 2004, God began to impress upon the leadership of Harvest Bible Fellowship the need and vision for a church plant in the Quad Cities. That vision came to fruition when Senior Pastor Rob Willey, together with his wife and family, moved to Davenport in the summer of 2004. That September, 20 people came together for the first time to worship, pray and seek God s direction for a new church. By late fall of 2004, the Launch Team had grown to 50 adults and opened its doors for the first time on November 14th, 2004. Over 400 people showed up to service that day and Harvest Bible Chapel Davenport was born. Today, Harvest averages 2300 people a weekend and God continues to do amazing things in and through Harvest Bible Chapel - Davenport. Harvest Bible Chapel is a part of Harvest Bible Fellowship - a family of 70+ churches worldwide that God is blessing in incredible ways.
