Live Your Christed Self Alder/Fearn Moon Mother and More... New Moon - March 30, 2014 11:44:39 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time We enter our 4th New Moon of the Year. This, once again, is a second new moon within a month. It, therefore, is called a black moon. This lunar time is filled with mystery, magick, and the wisdom of the Wyse Women of the Ovate Traditions. What is an Ovate? That is a Celtic term for a Medicine Person. It is the wise one s who know what the plant world energy supplies to heal the illnesses of body and mind. These wise people are intuitive and attuned to the vibrations of the Universe at such a level they transform healing energy from the ethereal plans into the realm of matter. How are you using the quality of the Ovate in your life? Tree of Life The New Moon occurs exactly at 11:44:39 Pacific Daylight Time on March 30th. The Celtic Moon Mother is Alder (Fearn is the Celtic translation). There is much to learn about the frequency of consciousness that Alder releases. At New Moon, the Sun and Moon join hip-to-hip in the zodiac sign of Aries (Alder). They radiate their light in many ways to instigate conscious movement. One in particular is a direct opposite alignment with Earth who is moving through the Zodiac of Libra (Ivy). This poses some provoking thoughts for relating. The Power of Relating Alder calls forth an initiation of relating. From a Universal conscious state, it asks that we relate to the presence of I AM. Mystical wisdom reveals that I AM is the name of Source. Secondarily, the next state of consciousness through Alder ask that we personal relate to our self. In this regard, it is to know our self well enough that we live our life in confidence, courage, and charisma (the ability to reveal our Divinely Conferred Talents). A secret resides in getting to know our self. We cannot do it alone. It takes others to reveal us to ourselves until we taken on the empowered state of noticing how we think, emote, act and react to life. This is an internal review and awakening to our true self. This new moon is a helper to self-discover through others as we have three planets and the South Moon Node traveling through Alder. They oppose Earth Mars and North Moon Node in Libra (sign of others ). In addition, the Sun, Moon and Aries continue to form the arc of light that activates the T-Square as they connect to Jupiter in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn (family and business; foundation and governments). These last two planets form a square to Earth and thus a Grand Cardinal Square is formed (when we add Earth to our equation of Planets). To follow the Light of this Lunar Month of Alder, I would like to maintain the wisdom of relating that can be of great assistance to everyone as we try to find harmony in relating. Below I have an Astrological Wheel with Aries/Alder in the natural position of the First House; Libra/Ivy in the natural position in the 7 th house; and Leo/Holly in the natural position of the 5 th house. Our contemplation of all of this is how to Empower our Self and how that is revealed in magickal ways through this illustration. Aries/Alder calls for us to initiate self awareness. To learn of our self as we get comfortable in our human body and human surroundings. As we grow, it calls us to be our self in our confidence, courage, and charisma. Most of us realize that we think we know ourselves until we start relating to others and we experience or perceive that they don t understand us. In the true esoteric wisdom, we realize it is because we don t understand ourselves. The model on the next page gives us a hint as to how to do this with grace, opportunities and wisdom. As you can see by the drawing, the Aries/Alder house, #1 arcs a light to the 7 th house of Libra/Ivy, for which I ve deemed, We are. In astrology, this is the house of intimate relationships. These relationships include those we are the closest to and when we live in trust, we reveal our most delicate secrets of our self. In this case, this can be our spouse, a heart-close friend, partner, family member. In the wheel you see a red line with a sign of opposition. For in truth, we are challenged by these most intimate relationships. Challenged to see our self and who we truly are or reveal to others. In the Libra House, ruled by Venus, we find the mirror of Venus. This mirror is a symbol of the 7 th house relating to the first house. It is the other s in our life that provide us the mirror to see our self. They will reveal our peacefulness or our anger. They will reveal our worthiness or our beliefs we are unworthy. They will reveal our talents or our belief we have no talent. The Mirror 2
provides a great look, if we will use it without the critical voice of self-judgment or judgment of others because we don t want to see what they are revealing. From the 1 st and 7 th house you can see an additional connection. This is the House of Holly, the 5 th house. I have deemed it I Actualize. This zodiac placement provides us the creative means to understand our self. It also carries the Law of Self Dominion. Therefore, it teaches us how to be our own sovereign and not get lost in our self-critic or belief in other s judgments. In fact, being connected to the Leo/Holly vibration via the Aries/Alder vibration places us in the Perfect 5 th alignment: Harmony, Ease, Grace and Love. You can see the symbol of a triangle (Trine, in Astrological language) between these two places (1 st and 5 th house). This is a symbol of Divine Grace. In the secret of this alignment, it can remind you that when you take Self Dominion you truly feel and know the I AM Presence with ease, and the pure confidence, courage, and charisma is a natural-living event for you. Next the symbol of an asterisk (akin to a sextile in Astrology) is noted as the energy between the 5 th and 7 th house. This is a vibration of opportunities. In this regard, as we relate to another of significance, we can use the inter-relating qualities and mirror effect as an opportunity to reveal who we are to our self and thus open to the potential of living our Self Dominion that does truly enhance our confidence, courage, and charisma. So, as we feel the initiating energy of this New Moon we might easily find our pathway of relating to our self and others and how this helps us know who we are at a more distinct and favorable level because we are taking Self Dominion and reflecting back to our self and others the empowered quality of who we truly are. Let s, now, look at other qualities of Alder that are so pertinent to realize during this lunar month. Not only is this energy of Spring, it is the energy of fresh new beginnings. We have an opportunity to focus and deliberately evaluate the path we have been taking this year and do we need to make a change or simply continue to cultivate the garden of our intentions. 3
Alder/Fearn and Her Companions of Consciousness The State of Consciousness that Alder/Fearn presents flows from the Cognitive Consciousness Field, as you can see in the Trestle Board Configuration. This Field represents our personal consciousness and our ability to remain in awareness. Alder is in the Center-Point of the Row of the Cognitive Consciousness and is a revealer of balance as well as helper in expressing the Intention of Soul evolution. Corresponding energies that work with Alder include Marsella (ruling planet who works from the realm of the Higher Conscious), Maiden of the Present, Middle World, Self; as well the Mother of the Future, and the Upper World (both aligned in the Higher Consciousness Field). Allow yourself to continue to create the foot-prints of your year with the Grace to work within these higher fields of awareness so we may weave into our personal conscious the vibrations that support our highest potentials. It is the code that keeps us in holistic harmony, allowing the right use of cognitive awareness, unconscious responses to life, and higher conscious wisdom encoded within all of us. Using this as a foundation of knowledge throughout this year will help guide the wisdom and energy of each Lunar Month. We continue weaving the right vibrations for use in 2014! Alder s vibrations begin to influence us at New Moon. This energy vibrates with the heat of fire we c call the Kundalini Fire (Spirit Fire within us). The Kundalini carries the symbol of a snake. You can see on the Card of Alder the snake symbol resides around her face and as her eyebrows Kundalini has risen. (On the Holly Card 2, the Snake is also over the eyes and look like glasses the ability to see the inner power.) As noted above, Alder corresponds to I AM pure essence of Spirit. From the fire of this New Moon comes motivation, determination and the passion to live purposefully. It initiates the Go for it attitudes that stir our independent, soul-nature into action so we can fulfill the Divine Design of this specific incarnation. With this energy we can take direct steps to fulfill the goals we carry in our mind, our heart, and most particularly, in our soul. As Alder is in the plane of Cognitive Consciousness, it calls us to respond to the Universal Law of Worldly Development with the utmost attention. We are called to be awake, alert and attentive to the path of successful living and developing our field of creative expression. We are called to use the power of courage to step through briar patches of challenges. If we choose to respond to the challenges with fear-based attitudes, then we will find ourselves unmotivated. We will be stuck and stop our journey, if not out-and-out quit heading toward the goals of our Higher Self intention. We will start taking pathways that may be filled with deceptive realities and hope for the best, all the while knowing we are not doing what is within the true depths of our inner purpose. We most certainly can become ill physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. We will feel unmotivated. We will feel alone and incapable of living our success. The field of action during this lunar cycle that is being utilized to draw our attention to a higher state of consciousness is revealed through the sacred vibrations and symbology of Marsella. Of course, our human nature, carrying the power of Free Will and Choice, can choose to live in the challenge of Marsella. This challenge is to fall prey to victim consciousness. The belief that other s have control over us and they leave us without an ounce of motivation to take charge of our life, is the power of the victim. The gift of Marsella is the Law of Purification. It provides us the energy to cleanse and clear the inner victim thoughts, beliefs and even old events in which we experienced victimization. Marsella carries the energy that encourages the impulses of our Soul to be felt and the drive within to respond. We can respond with creative ideas and fulfill these ideas by going into direct and purposeful action. We can let go of the past beliefs and experiences, and head right on into the future of our dreams and desires. Ultimately, we can take the action to fulfill the 3-C s: Confidence, Courage and Charisma. In our confidence we have the courage to reveal the charismatic talents and natural gifts we are called to share with the rest of the world. During the cycle of Alder we are empowered by the continue with the use of the Upper World and the timing of the Universe as well as the Middle World, the Time of Now, and the gift of our Self. See the notes below. Alder aligns with the Self, Middle World and Maiden of the Present. The Self, of course, is each of us in our individual nature. We carry the power to be conscious and alert; aware of what we are doing in our thinking, feeling and acting. We carry the gift of being confident, courageous and charismatic. Particularly if we leave self-doubt out of our intended expedition of life. The Middle World is the realm of the expedition and the Manifest World (the world of Effect as we play out the creative power of the Causal World). Everything we do in this Earthly venture, all the people we meet and the circumstances of life we encounter occur in the Middle World; the realm of Matter. The action in this realm is always in the Present. When we are so connected to this vibration, we are not dwelling in the past or the future...we are building our life with attention given to each moment and event within the moment. We are building with the blocks of clarity, truth and direct intention and attention. The Universal Law of the Middle World is the Law of Completion, the power to succeed completely. The Law of Maiden of the Present is the Law of Right Action. Right action requires truth, integrity, intention and awareness. Honoring this law requires your understanding and awareness in order to achieve success in life. Finally, the Law of Self is the Law of Learning. Know Thyself is an edict. It has been passed down by the ancient wisdom of the Greek at Delphi as a proverb for healing and wholeness. The Law of Learning provides the essence of wisdom that is a continual opening to awareness of life in ones environment as well as Life as Source experiencing and exploring Itself through individual souls living and growing through the realm of matter. 6
Marsella helps us live this empowered state of the Middle World by keeping us in touch with the Field of the Higher Consciousness which includes the Upper World and the Mother of the Future (Time). The Upper World is the World Of Creation and the power of the Celestial qualities of consciousness are used. Causal Energy stirs within our mind and intuition. It calls us to desire and create. It is within this field of energy that every soul creates with Source and the perfect design of one s desire is rendered. Listen for the messages of the Celestial Realm in the Upper World. The music of desires is being sung to as we cultivate our intentions. The Universal Law of Interference and Guidance forms within this consciousness. It is a reminder that the Angels can help and guide, but cannot interfere with our free will and choice. Remember to ask for assistance. At times I simply say, when I am initiating my focus for the month, I choose the Divine Will over my personal will and ask for right guidance to fulfill my desires. In the power of the Mother of the Future is the Universal Law of Glory. From the moment the Universe divided and individuated, the Law of Glory was substantiated. The Glory of the Creator excited the essence of Living. Encoded in every one is the magnificence of Grace. In Grace, one is provided the blessings of the universe without an expectation of earning it. The Glory of the Creator is the Ever-Knowing of Its Perfection in all existence. Each individual may know the Glory by living in the Joy of Being no matter what the appearance of daily experiences. Look for and create joy and you will find your exaltation in Glory. Combining the field of the High Self with the Cognitive Self is an art-form of consciousness. Your personal Conscious now takes on the Glory of your own capabilities. Ride in the wave of this energy with an intention to fulfill the gifts provided through the field of Alder s lunar cycle.
