Special Hearing Devices are available at the 8:00 & 10:30 services. Ask an usher. Radio Broadcasts, an outreach of Concordia, are on Sundays at 9:00am on WNNC-AM 1230. The Lutheran Hour is broadcast on Sunday on WXRC-95.7 FM at 6:30am, WNNC 1230 at 8:00am & WAIZ 630AM at 10:30am. Communion: In the Lord s Supper, Jesus offers the faithful His true body and blood to eat and drink. As He promises, in this sacrament forgiveness of sin, life and salvation are given. The words given and shed for you for the forgiveness of sins, along with eating and drinking, are the main thing in the Sacrament. Anyone who has questions is invited to speak to the pastor or elder before communing. The cups in the center of the tray are filled with a white non-alcoholic wine and gluten free wafers are available for those with allergies. The Concordia Prime Timers will meet at 11:30am on Monday, Feb. 13 th, in the Emmaus Room for a covered dish luncheon. All seniors and young at heart are welcome. If you have not yet made plans to join us for the April 11 th trip to the Wohfahrt Haus Dinner Theater in Wytheville, VA, we are still taking reservations. Cost for the trip is $65. Call Service of a Pastor of Family Life On Sunday, February 26 th each of our three services will be Call Services where we join in prayer, praise, and seek God s direction as to extending a call for an Assistant Pastor of Family Life from among the three candidates. Additional copies of their biographical sketches are available at the church or school office. Open Forum -Sun., Feb. 12, 9:15am in the Emmaus Room; Wed., Feb. 15, 10am in the Emmaus Room; Sun., Feb. 19, noon, in the Main Sanctuary. Stephen Ministry Commissioning! next Sunday we will commission our Stephen Ministers who have completed 50 hours of training and are ready to serve! Help celebrate with them, and pray for them as they go forth to serve. Lent This Month!
