Churches United For Healthy Congregations Churches are places where we pray and come to worship and learn about God. But they are also places that we eat and socialize. It s important that we care for our physical health just as we care for our spiritual health. Churches United is an organization of local churches that encourages its congregants to honor their bodies as gifts from God by eating healthy and getting plenty of physical activity. Trinity UCC is a member. Check out the website for lots of health tips including recipes for delicious low fat eating! www.cufhc.org
Seeing a Child in Need One afternoon a little boy was playing outdoors. He used his mother's broom as a horse and had a wonderful time until it was getting dark. He left the broom on the back porch. His mother was cleaning up the kitchen when she realized that her broom was missing. She asked the little boy about the broom and he told her where it was. She then asked him to please go get it. The little boy informed his mom that he was afraid of the dark and didn't want to go out to get the broom. His mother smiled and said, "The Lord is out there too, don't be afraid. The little boy opened the back door a little and said, "Lord if you're out there, can you please hand me the broom?"

Please Think About the Homeless and Trinity When You Clean Out Your Closets The Pinellas County Homeless Coalition has put a donation box at the entrance from the parking lot.* Because we agreed to be a host site, we will receive a monthly check from the proceeds of the donations collected. Additionally, 25% of the proceeds go to the Pinellas County Homeless Coalition to fund their programs. Pinellas County will advertise and inform individual businesses and organizations in the area that we are a host site. This is a wonderful way for us to get the word out about Trinity as well as do something good for the community.
