Footnotes throughout the worship folder help explain the different parts of the service. PREPARING FOR WORSHIP Today is the last Sunday of the Church Year. The Church Year is an arrangement of week-by-week themes which annually review for us and impress upon our hearts what our Savior God has done for us: his birth, life, ministry, suffering, death, resurrection, exaltation, and rule in our hearts and lives. What an appropriate way to conclude the Church year as we honor Christ the King! PRAYER BEFORE WORSHIP The kingdom, the power, and the glory are given to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Your dominion is an everlasting dominion; your kingdom one which shall not be destroyed. Let all the peoples, nations, and languages serve you. Remind me today, and every day, that all things are under your control. Remind me today, and every day, that you rule all things for my good. You ve made me that promise. Help me to trust this promise. I pray this in your name.
