Page 2 Mt Home Youth Gro up News Next Meeting: Sunday, June 9th 7-8:30 After all the service and work projects it is time to have some fun to and close the school year youth group! Please join Kelly and Connie on Sunday June 9th for Putt Putt golf and Polar Bear Yogurt. Meet at 7:00 pm at Island Greens, 20400 SW Cipole Rd, Tualatin (left off Cipole Road at Sherwood - Tualatin Road). Once we finish our round of Putt Putt golf we will drive over to have Polar Bear Yogurt in Sherwood. Parents can pick up at Polar Bear at 8:30. You are welcome to bring a friend, we just need to know ahead of time so we can plan the transportation to Polar Bear. - Connie, Kelly and Larry Mt Home Road Clean Up May 4th Road Clean Up and Mt Home Church was a tidy affair! The Mt Home UMC Men's group sponsored the clean up and recruited several youth to assist. Nine eager litter "pickeruppers" snacked on a yummy breakfast and then donned safety vests and gloves as they set out to clean up Mt Home, Krueger and Aebischer Roads. In about an hour and a half we had recovered multiple bottles, bags of fastfood trash, some old signs and a 4x8 sheet of plywood... what a treasure! It was a beautiful morning full of sun, fellowship and the peace of the earth. Many thanks for the breakfast and for all the help from all who attended: Brian, Tom, Gregg, Linda, Connie, Molly, Nathan,
