RHEIA DOERING, JANUARY 7, 2017 it is hard to accept that Aubrey has left this earth to be with the Lord. We will all miss him, but he is now free from suffering which he so beautifully bore with amazing joy and contentment with his lovely bride Kathy at his side. What a powerful witness for our Lord, before and during his illness. The class of 1966 at Shawnee High School was and is wonderfully blessed to have him as a
classmate. As the Orthodox say on loosing a loved one, "May his memory live forever." Never in my experience has that been such a meaningful hope. TED SHADID, JANUARY 7, 2017 prayers for all the family and those who loved Aurbry so much. BARBARA AND BILLY WATSON AND FAMILY, JANUARY 7, 2017 Thanks Aub for all the memories and being a great friend and inspiration for us for 42 years! God bless you Kathy and all your family and we will all be reunited in Heaven one day Love,Lynn and Cathy LYNN & CATHY HARMON, JANUARY 6, 2017 We miss you Aubrey and will continue to hold Kathy and family up in our prayers as you requested.so glad we had a time to view your Dad's beautiful work and remember both our Dad's with tears streaming. As you said that day that you knew your Dad was exceptionally good in his work but you didn't realize how good until we viewed his work from over 45 years ago and everything still looked and worked perfectly! You stated that ack then they did not have the tools available...like you used in your work. And your sweet Mom, strong in faith and example I think laid the foundation so you were able to become the great man of faith and encourager to all. Thank you. REVE COWEN HANKS, JANUARY 6, 2017 50 years ago I met Aubrey at Abilene Christian College and we became friends. We lost touch with each other until about five years ago and I am so glad that we renewed our friendship! He truly became a man close to God and I am blessed to have know him. My condolences to Kathy and his children; I know you miss him beyond measure. But I hope you find comfort in knowing that Aubrey is with God and left such a Godly legacy. It was a pleasure to have know Aubrey as my friend. RONNIE HEARNE, JANUARY 6, 2017 What a privilege to share in the life of Aubrey. His simple, unwavering faith was an inspiration to us all. He was always willing to help anyone, anywhere and anytime. He was truly a reflection of Jesus here on earth. MT 23:23 "His Master replied, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful
with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share in your Master's happiness!" MATT, ROBBIN AND EMILY DILL, JANUARY 5, 2017 Kathy, Dennis, Lionel and I send our love your way. Words fail me at this time. It is a great relief that Aubrey is no longer suffering but at peace. But at the same time, my heart breaks at your loss. Aubrey was, perhaps, the most blessed person I know with your ever faithful love caring for him each and every day. His legacy will live on, and with time, you will be able to absorb this loss with less pain. Please take care and know of all the people who are sending their love and strength your way. MARTHA VAN VACTOR, JANUARY 4, 2017 Dear Kathy and children: We were saddened to learn of Aubrey's passing, but we rejoice with you at the same time. Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers during the coming weeks. We love you all ~ Vickie, Stephen, Jack and Tori VICKIE REDMAN, JANUARY 3, 2017 We met Aubrey in St. Louis, Ok where his sister Sharon Spicer worships. Over the years when he came to worship with us it was evident that in health or in sickness, Aubrey displayed a spirit that was not only genuine but infectious. His faith was real and it was evident in the way he lived and spoke. In sickness when his faith would be challenged, he seemed focused, spoke deliberate and sure about his fight for life, but all along knew that Jesus was in control, and His promises were sure. He was a man of courage and deep faith. We will miss him. OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL HIS LOVED ONES! GERD AND LUCKY FECHT, JANUARY 3, 2017 I have known Aubrey since his sister, my Aunt Sharon married my Uncle Veldon. The first time I met him he was wearing his Marine uniform. I still have the picture my aunt gave me of him in that uniform. He was a great person. His love of family was only surpassed by his love for Christ. He spoke at my uncle and my aunt's funeral when I know he really didn't feel well. But, that was Aubrey, others before himself. Rest In Peace!
TENA SPICER HOUSER, JANUARY 2, 2017 Prayers! STEVE MEDLEY, JANUARY 1, 2017 My beloved Uncle Aubrey. In my memories and in my heart always. I love you. Your strength of faith will be a testament to many, for many years to come. KIM KEE, JANUARY 1, 2017 My condolences to all of Aubrey's family and loved ones. It was my honor and privilege to have been Aubrey's basketball coach at Shawnee High School. I admire his strength and quality of personal character, which he maintained throughout his life. I have appreciated very much the times I got to see and visit with him through the years, which was not nearly frequent enough May our dear Lord receive Aubrey with the warmth of our Savior's incomparable love and may our dear Lord greatly bless all Aubrey's family with the comfort that only He can provide. JERRELL CHESNEY, JANUARY 1, 2017 I first met Aubrey playing sandlot baseball in our neighborhood. We attended Shawnee Jr and Sr High Schools graduating in 1966. In fact he and I, along with Randy Swinson, spent our graduation night together driving the streets of Shawnee, making the square several times until early the next morning. In all those years I never heard him say a bad word. He was a true Christian gentleman from time we met until the day he went to glory. Thank you, Lord for giving him to me as a friend. DANA LEVISAY, JANUARY 1, 2017 As Commandant of the Capt. John Yancey Detachment, Marine Corps League, in Dallas, I'd like to offer our sincere condolenses for your loss. As Marines, we are a brotherhood, and, even though we didn't know Mr. McNutt personally, he was, and will always be, considered our brother. A brother Marine. Thank you for you service, Sir. RIP. Semper Fidelis! TREY KLONOWER, JANUARY 1, 2017 So sad to read of Aubrey's passing--heaven has gained another Angel and what a beautiful Angel he is! He was a wonderful person and a shining
inspiration, to us all. I knew when we said goodbye at our June 2016, 50-year class reunion that it was the last goodbye, and it hurt so much. We will miss him more than words can express, but are comforted to know we will see him again, in the great beyond. My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to Kathy and all of Aubrey's family. We love you very much and will be thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Thoughts, prayers & love to Kathy & entire family. Mike & Linda Sperry Joshua 1:9 MIKE SPERRY, DECEMBER 31, 2016 We have been friends since grade school at South Rock Creek. He was truly an inspiration to everyone as he fought the battle with cancer. His faith was apparent in all his posts. He lifted each of us up as we would read his words. He will have many jewels in his crown and is celebrating the promise we are given as children of a risen Lord. What a great New Year he is having at this time. He will be missed but we know we will see him again one day at a great reunion. LUETTA WHITE, DECEMBER 31, 2016 The class of 66 will always miss you. ROBERT PICKENS, DECEMBER 31, 2016 I am so honored to have been a friend of Aubrey's since we were in grade school. He was always such a thoughtful genuine person. He was a man of God.
