DZIĘKUJĘ! DZIĘKUJĘ! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! WOW!!! What a great Dozynki we had again this year. The weather was great, the crowds were large and everyone seemed to enjoy the day. There appeared to be a relaxed atmosphere all day where the long line of people waiting to purchase food enjoyed the music and a chance to visit with friends. There is always a lot of work putting together an event of this size and it cannot be accomplished without many hands and you have showed all who are watching how much you care for this parish and our traditions. I would like to thank all who helped in any way to make this a successful event. It is hard to name everyone who had a hand in its success but special thanks to the co-chairs Mark Leszczynski and George Sykala who took on a huge responsibility with great results; Carolyn Kozubal and Patty Sykala who worked so diligently behind the scenes as well as Richard and Donna Joachim who were instrumental in food preparation and ran a very busy and efficient kitchen. So many others deserve recognition as well and you know who you are but it is more important that our Heavenly Father knows and will reward your service to others in His name. However, just as important if not more so, I need to thank all who attended our festival. Without you we have no reason to hold such an event. Yes, it is a fund raiser but maybe even more important it is a chance to bring people together for great food and traditions as well as fellowship. Again I say thank you one and all. God bless you, Deacon Joe THANK YOU We recently received a Thank You letter from the Rev. Michael Farano, Diocesan Director of the Society for the Propogation of the Faith. He thanked our parish for its generous support of Catholic Missions throughout the world. In the past 3 years, this parish has donated $2,331 to support Catholic Missions. Childrens Christmas Pageant In order to continue this tradition at the 4:00 P.M. Mass on Christmas Eve, we need at least 9 children to perform the roles. Sign-up sheets are in the gathering area or contact the Parish Office by November 5.

In every autumn, there are endings and beginnings. There is the end of vacations, and the beginning of school. Cool green leaves fall from their branches, and become dappled yellows, bright oranges and deep reds. Help me, when things end that I wish had continued, to see that in you, there are no real endings. In you, there are only changes, and new beginnings. Give me the grace to know, that even death itself is not the end, but only a change from one beautiful thing into another. Amen.
