(i) Identify the Latin verb, and give its literal meaning in English. Explain in full how this aspect of Nero s character becomes evident in paragraph one. (d) (i) Identify the Latin infinitive in the fourth sentence (Nero sperabat ). State the tense of this infinitive. (iii) Explain why an infinitive has been used here.
