Today s date: Tomorrow we travel. trust Read Proverbs 3:5-6 Write a response to God... As I read these verses, I believe God is reminding me to Pray... Lord, I confess that sometimes I have a hard time trusting in You. I depend on my own understanding o en. Teach me the adventure of le ing go and le ing You guide me from opportunity to opportunity, so that I can trust you with my whole life. Amen. Be silent... Offer yourself to God by closing your eyes and repeating over and over again this prayer, I trust you, Lord, to guide me I trust you, Lord, to guide me I trust you, Lord, to guide me Write... Write about a person you trust, and what it is about that person that makes him/her trustworthy. Write a prayer... Yield your life to God with words of praise, thanks and commitment. List the names of those on your mission team and write a special prayer for each one. 16 Take action... Go on a prayer walk in your neighborhood, and as you walk, pray for the people who live in your neighborhood, the members of your mission team, and the people who you will soon be meeting at your mission destination.

I praise you for the ability Jesus had to give up everything in order to serve the world with his life. Help me, Lord, to let go of my life this week, so I can experience the power that is available when I make myself available to You in serving others. Help me to be more like Jesus this week, Amen. Think about Jesus. Think about the team. Think about your travel. Adjust your a itudes. Get your mind ready to be a humble servant to others as you travel, and in the days ahead as you serve the people. Think of all the many ways you can practice being a servant to others in your group as you travel and arrive. being a servant Write a prayer... Praise God for this day. Pray for those you are leaving behind in order to travel. Yield your life to God s will as you begin these days of mission. Take action... Fellowship: Having Christian friends is such an important part of living the Christian life. We all need encouragement and help. Commit to being a part of a small group or Bible study, and if you don t know of one around, organize your own. My plan: Service to Others: You ve just had a great experience in serving others. Why stop now? Faith without works is lifeless. The best way to put your faith into practice is to serve others your family, friends, the church, the school, your next-door neighbor, the poor, the one nobody else wants to sit next to. Let God lead you to opportunities of service in the months and years ahead. My plan: Witness: A sure way to grow in your faith and trust in God is to talk about your faith with others who need to know the joy of the Christian life. Start by telling people you meet about your mission experience. Let the subject come up naturally in your conversations. Think of at least 5 people who don t a end church, and invite them to come with you in the near future. My plan: 50
