Welcome to my world, where it's naturally supernatural. My guest, Paul Wilbur, is considered one of the finest messianic Jewish psalmists in the world. We're going to have a guest come on during this show that blows the shofar, the ram's horn, and literally it becomes a cancer-free area. People have been healed of cancer when this man blows the shofar. Paul, we go back a long time. I have to tell you how much discernment and wisdom I operate under. I originally hired Paul to work for me. When you hear his voice, you'll understand when I say he's one of the finest messianic Jewish psalmists in the world. But what did I hire you to do, Paul? PAUL: Actually, I read your mail. SID: You wish you did! PAUL: So I guess I was a prophet back then. SID: He was in the mailroom. He was opening the mail and reading the mail. But we had a diversion. Lunchtimes we would go out to Farragut Square in Washington, D.C., where all the stock brokers and business types were trying to get away from the pressure of Wall Street and eat their nice little box or bag lunch and enjoy the park and the birds. And they had Paul Wilbur there, who was singing. You really gathered a lot of people, then I got up and said, with a lot of zeal, not a whole lot of knowledge, "Repent of your sins!" What happened to the crowds? PAUL: They went back to their noisy, pressure-filled offices. SID: He gathered, I scattered. (laughter) He's being nice. But then, he police came. What happened? PAUL: The sounds of what we were doing there, with that little sound system, because of the buildings all around D.C., would bounce back and forth. We had police coming from nine and ten blocks away saying You've got to turn it down." But I tell you Sid, those were special times, and I thank God for the zeal that we had. Alright, maybe we didn't have all the wisdom... SID: But we have the gray hair now! (laughter) PAUL: Those were great times. SID: Paul, speaking of a great time, you must've had a great time when you did this: "Night Of Extravagant Worship." Tell me about it. PAUL: One day, I felt in prayer that we were supposed to gather the finest people that we know in music and worship. That's what we do. We brought a gospel choir from Chicago, Bill Winston's church, some of the finest people who have traveled with me and made recordings with Integrity all over the world, to Jacksonville, Florida to invite the glory of God; to invite the presence of God. Not just a feeling, not goose bumps, but the manifest presence of God. Fifty-two dancers came, banners, flags. Sid on that DVD is captured, in a very special way, the manifest presence of God, for all that happens in there. SID: You have so many songs on this DVD and CD that I love, but one in particular has great meaning to me. What does "Days Of Elijah" really mean today?
PAUL: If we look back at the time of Elijah, in the Tanach, in the Old Testament, in the book of First Kings, there was economic upheaval, there was drought and famine in the land, the flocks and herds were dying, unemployment was at an all-time high. SID: Sounds familiar! PAUL: Doesn't it sound familiar? There was bad leadership. SID: I won't comment on that one. Go ahead. PAUL: We won't comment there, but there was bad leadership, ungodly leadership. All of that culminated together during that time of Elijah. He was raised up to be the voice of God in that society during that time. There's other prophecies about that day. In Malachi, God says "I'll turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers." When? During the days of Elijah. It's happening right now, and there's many layers of that that we could speak about. But we are in the days of Elijah right now in many different, discernable ways, so there's a message for the world during those days. SID: You know Paul, there are many things we could talk about: returning the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. But the one that I love is Paul the apostle's definition. He said "We owe a debt of gratitude to the fathers: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob." So if the fathers represent the Jewish people, who do the children represent? The Christians. There is a blessing when these two people groups come together, and it's an explosion. Just before the great and awesome Day of the Lord, the prophet Elijah will come. What I believe is it's an Elijah company of people that walk in the spirit of Elijah, just as John the Baptist walked in the spirit of Elijah. SID: Hello. Sid Roth here with Paul Wilbur. That was an excerpt from "A Night Of Extravagant Worship". I watched the entire DVD. You know what I believe? Just as we're going to have Don Heist on shortly when he blows the shofar, and people get healed, I believe that we will have a demon-free zone in the homes, if they play the DVD 24/7 at their house. PAUL: Absolutely. SID: Can you picture that type of atmosphere there? PAUL: That's exactly what happens, Sid. When these DVDs and CDs are played in your car or home, it begins to change the atmosphere. Why? Because in Psalm 22 God says He inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 16:11 says in His presence is a fullness of joy, with pleasure at His right hand forevermore. And, Nehemiah says that the joy of the Lord is our strength. If we are going to be a strong people during these days of Elijah to declare the word of the Lord, we need to stay in His presence. These are tools to help us change the atmosphere in our homes and be a strong people during these days. SID: Tell me about the expectancy of the people who attended that particular outreach. PAUL: We know several who came because they know the atmosphere changes
when we get together to worship the Lord. I know of a man who is a very top executive in the economic world in Chicago, got out of the hospital, he was in the hospital, heard about this, he excused himself from the hospital, took his wife, got on a plane and came to be with us in Jacksonville Florida because he said "I want to be where the presence of God is." An update to that, there were lesions on his brain, and we just found out that after surgically removing them, they're benign. No cancer. God is healing that man. SID: I remember I went to a Shabbat service that you had, and while the worship was going on... There's something about worship that draws the presence of God. How many years was that woman on a walker? PAUL: Oh, Leany from Pensacola Florida drove 350 miles to be in the service. You were there as well. During the worship, she stood up and left her walker behind. 25 years she was in that walker, and there God met her in the middle of that worship, because He inhabits the praises of His people. SID: I remember grabbing her hands and walking with her. It's so wonderful to see her. PAUL: She has now moved to our town just to be in the presence there with us when we lead worship. SID: Well you don't have to move to Jacksonville Florida. All you have to do is get this DVD. Paul, tell me about the woman who had a malignancy in her eye that was actually eating her brain out. PAUL: She went to the doctor because she was having difficulty seeing. When they examined her, they found that she had a cancerous tumor growing behind her eye. This is the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida. They said "We need to remove your eye immediately, because it's a very fast growing cancer that will begin to eat the brain, and then there is nothing we can do for it." She came to us, we laid hands on her, we prayed for her, anointed her with oil according to the scriptures. A couple of weeks later, she made an appointment with the finest physician in the world for this kind of cancer, in Philadelphia. Left her children and dog in our home, went there to be reexamined. When she came back the report was the tumor is gone. SID: How do you receive these melodies and words? The words, in most instances are scripture, but how do you receive these melodies? PAUL: There is a sound in heaven. We know that in the throne room, because scripture gives us an insight into what's going on, that there are angels singing, there are songs being sung in heaven. If we invite the presence of heaven, the presence of God, in our worship, there are sounds that we can hear as we tap into this spiritual realm. SID: What do you feel like when you get a song from heaven? PAUL: I feel like it's a smile of God. He went through so much trouble to leave us the scriptures, and has sent to us messengers over thousands of years to reveal who He is. Of course the special Messenger, Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua of Nazareth, who is here. He said "If you've seen Me, you've seen My Father." God has gone to a lot of trouble to reveal Himself to us, and if we just open our eyes... I remember when I got born again, 31 years ago. I said "Lord, open my eyes. I want to see, I want to hear, into this realm." Everything we can see was made out of what we can't see, from the very first page of the Bible. God spoke and created everything that we can see out of what can't be seen, and that's where the source is. That's what I want to hear. I want to hear the source. My name is Sid Roth, and I'm here with my friend Paul Wilbur and his friend Don Heist. Don blows the shofar, the ram's horn. Don, you received a very interesting word, a prophecy from God, about what would happen when you blow the ram's horn. DON: Yes, I received the prophecy about a year and a half ago, that wherever I would blow the shofar, cancer must go. It was spoken over me by a prophet, and just after that, we started receiving accounts of the way people were healed from the blowing of the shofar, the playing of the shofar, right into their area of disease. SID: Paul, he accompanies you many times at your concerts. What do you see? What do you sense when he blows that shofar? PAUL: Well, it's remarkable. It's like anything under an anointing. When you hear an anointed singer, when you hear an anointed speaker, when you hear an anointed violinist, there's an anointing for playing the shofar, and Don definitely has it. It's a gift from God. It's an empowering to do what he does. SID: Ok, I'm not from Missouri, but tell me about someone who was healed of cancer when you blew the shofar. DON: We received a report from a man I'd gotten an e-mail from who had been diagnosed with lung cancer. Golf ball sized lumps in his lungs And without us even knowing, he was at a service that we were at. He had me blow the shofar into his chest after the service, but he didn't tell me why, he just wanted to hear the different sounds. So I did this, and about two weeks later I receive an e-mail from him that said "Now let me tell you the whole story." He told me how he was diagnosed with cancer, they gave him a few months to a year to live. These golf ball sized lumps of cancer had disappeared when he went back for his testing, between the time they had first tested him and then we played the shofar into him. And then the next time he was tested they did it twice because they thought the machine malfunctioned. SID: That is so wonderful. You have so many of these. As a matter of fact, does blowing the shofar work on animals? DON: Yes. A family brought a German Shepherd to us who, very similar to the gentleman I was talking about, had lumps of cancer under his fur, and I felt these with my own hand. We prayed over this dog and blew the shofar into the areas of the cancer under his fur. Within days they said the animal had perked up, was running around in their home playing with a ball, which it had not done for a while. One week later, I saw the dog again, and the lumps all were completely gone. I rubbed my hand over the fur, and there was nothing there at all.
SID: Would you take your shofar and go to the other set, because I can't wait for you to hear what's going to happen when he blows this shofar. It's literally going to go into your home, the healing anointing of God. Paul, the acid test starts at home. He blew the shofar at his wife. What was wrong with her? PAUL: For 18! years she suffered with severe vertigo, to the point she couldn't go up an escalator, couldn't climb stairs, couldn't drive in a car. It was very debilitating. She actually got tired of hearing all these other healing stories, and one day she said "Hey, why don't you blow that thing over me?" So they prayed together, Don sounded the shofar over her, and she has not had vertigo since that moment. SID: Ok. Sickness-free zone, I declare in the name of Yeshua, as Don Heist blows that shofar. Get ready to receive. [horn] SID: Wow. That's all I've got to say. That was Don Heist blowing that anointed shofar ram's horn. Paul Wilbur, what do you believe transpired in the spirit? There was such a presence of God. PAUL: What happens is, the atmosphere changes. And I know that people at home viewing this sensed something was going on. I'm telling them that the atmosphere in your home changed because of the sound of this shofar; the voice of God declaring over you healing, and strength, restoration, provision. All that you need for life and godliness, because that's the nature of the God that we serve. SID: Every time I hear the shofar, I think of Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, but it's really the shofars. The thing that I love about Rosh Hashanah is the shofar is blown so that we can repent of sins before Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. The 103rd Psalm says "Bless the Lord oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits. He's forgiven all of my sins..." So if Yeshua, Jesus, is your Messiah and Lord, He's forgiven all of your sins. But a lot of people forget the last part of that verse, "...and healed all" - I love the word "all" - "...and healed all of your diseases." I agree, in the name of Yeshua, that your back is totally healed. Your back is a pain-free zone now. Your spine is straight now. Your hip, the pain is gone. I agree, in Yeshua's name... Paul, is God showing you anyone being healed? PAUL: Yes, cancerous tumors have shrunk and are disappearing. They're dying at the root right now. SID: I love it when God shows up. In His presence, all things are possible. And we are in His presence right now, so whether we have said your condition or not, take your hand and put it on the part of your body that's hurting. In the name of Yeshua - in the name of Jesus - be whole. Now do something you couldn't do before. Move your neck, move your back, move that painful part of your body, and watch and see. Taste, the Lord is good. Another back has just been healed in Yeshua's name. Get ready for one of the greatest moves of the healing of God in history. It's coming, it's coming.
