My Dear Friends and partners, The monsoon, though started late, has been a blessing to the farmers in our state in India. We have been enjoying cool weather. However, the industries are hurting as they get power supply for only 3 days a week. Hundreds of them have been shut down. In fact, we do not get power for 4 hours a day in Hyderabad while Vijayawada doesn t have it for 6 hours a day and very little in the villages. People, farmers, and industries are suffering. India is in desperate need of more power. Well, the Good News is that the God Whom we serve is still on throne touching and mending lives. Pastors Reports from July and August: Newly saved souls 298, Converts Baptized in water 44, Believers filled with the Holy Spirit 120, Open Air Meetings conducted 122. The Gospel is forever the power of God unto salvation. Our pastors and church planters are going out into the villages to preach it in spite of opposition and persecution. A militant wing of a Hindu fundamentalist group called Bajarang Dal recently bombarded on one of our pastors and has been trying to shut down the church building we have built last year in a Hindu Community. Pastor. Manikyam called me a few times and I have prayed and encouraged him. Manikyam, Jogipeta reported: A demon-possessed young man decided to commit suicide but pastor. Prem Manohar, Bhimavaram: A Hindu man was suffering from kidney and liver diseases. He has Diabetes as well as Gastric problem. The doctors refused to give prescription because of his complex health condition. At this time he came to know of the healing power of Jesus. He attended Sunday worship services regularly. The Holy Spirit has touched him in body and soul. He accepted Jesus and God healed him completely. His entire family became the followers of Jesus Christ. Halleluiah!! Revival Sessions in September: We have gathered about 190 students from 3 of our Bible Schools at Vijayawada. Jonny Rodgers, the lead pastor of one of our faithful partnering churches, and the 3 Directors of our Bible Schools have ministered. Oh!! The Holy Spirit has moved in a mysterious and powerful way that the young people were touched. Most of them, if not all of them, were weeping in God s Presence. Several came to me saying that their lives would no more be the same. One young man came to me with uncontrollable weeping and shaking to share with me that he wanted to leave the Bible School after that 2-day meeting. He wanted to run away from God and get a job as the ministry was too much for him. But the Holy Spirit has powerfully touched him. He said that he had accepted God s Call and committed his life totally to the ministry. Maranatha Children Home Ministry is impacting children & young people: I am ever grateful to the Lord for depositing burden into my life for the orphan, poor, and needy boys and girls. I ve learned long time back that a man who lives only for himself and his family is an unfortunate man ever lived on this planet. But the man who lives for God and his fellow men and women is a worthy man ever walked on the face of the earth. It is not what and how much we
Page 3.. get out of any profession or ministry that counts the most but it is what and how much we have been able to deposit into others in order to prepare them for eternal city called Heaven.
