FRONTIER MISSIONS NETWORK Reaching the darkest places of West-Africa with the light of the gospel Using Bible Stories Method Between 25 th April to 11 th May 2016 INTODUCTION. they sailed back to Antioch, where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had now completed. And when they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened the doors of faith to the gentiles Acts 14:26-27. Between 25 th April and 11 th May this year we embarked on another mission trip to the unreached people group in the northern Ghana as a follow up mission activities to visit the churches that were planted during the first mission trip in January this year where eight villages were evangelize and six churches planted in six villages, 74 people were trained on storeying during the first trip, over (1,200) One Thousand Two Hundred people heard the gospel with many giving their lives to Jesus. The purpose of this trip is to take oversight of all the churches that were planted in January to conduct discipleship training for these new believers to make sure the churches are healthy and also to plant more churches in places where single evangelical church cannot be traced. We are very grateful to give you another mission report. The Mission Team

The Problem For some years Ghana Evangelism Committee had done thorough work in researching the nuke and crony of such places in the northern part of Ghana, holding several missions consultations at which they placed before the churches the real situation on the ground. The picture they painted was clear that there are many unreached people group in the northern regions of Ghana which needed to be evangelize and get churches planted. In circumstances therefore, the churches in the southern part of Ghana huge and mega churches were challenge to rise up to the occasion to take the gospel to these deprived people. And yet they don t seem to have responded. The best some of them sometimes do is to plant a church in the regional capital cities in the northern part of Ghana to the neglect of those in the rural setting. The simple three reasons that I have found is that, 1. The churches won t get money from these places. They would have to put in more money and would not get the money back but only souls. Infact we had to go with every food and water we needed to these villages, stay with them and drove to the nearest town if we needed more. That cost a lot of money. We had to sleep in dilapidated classrooms, that is if we get any and with goats. That means a lot of discomfort. Parking of our food stuffs into the truck for the journey This is where we were accommodated

2. Another reason might be about knowing the right method to use to present the gospel to these poor illiterate rural folks. Because they cannot read and write, sometimes they found it difficult to understand the gospel through the direct confrontational method. Most of them feel insulted and still many do not understand the message due to the method that is used. Some of them react and respond with bewilderment. This alone hinders the gospel. We have been blessed to use the right method in presenting the message which has produced several converts and multiple churches without any resistance. 3. Another reason may be probably what the South Korea Missionary in Ghana said; the churches in the southern regions of Ghana lack the spiritual energy to confront the work that needs to be done in the north. This could be true because it takes partnership with the Holy Spirit to venture into these Satanic control areas to claim these territories for Jesus. Infact it takes divine energy and great commitment, a lot of sacrifices and also great risk to work in these areas. Imagine sleeping in classrooms without doors with goats sharing the rooms together. Imagine also sleeping in your car with doors open to get ventilation. Some of these villages in the northern Ghana about 80% of the people there are idol worshippers and in other places too 95% are muslims. It therefore call for the partnership of the Holy Spirit to penetrate into these areas to claim them for Jesus. VENTURING IN THESE FRONTIERS Against these backdrop, the Ministry of Frontier Missions Network is burdened, passionate and equipped spiritually with divine energy and also resourced with the requisite training on how to use the storying method to effectively reach out to these deprived, neglected, unreached, and poverty saddled people in these areas of West Africa. We went with a five member team to these remote villages driving several miles deep into these farming communities. Finding it difficult to penetrate into these places because there are virtually no roads but human paths. We have to struggle with the bushes to make our way to get to them.

These are some of the villages we penetrate to send the gospel We went with Evangelist Yaw Asante who has been in ministry for 47 years and is 72 years of age. Evangelist sometime will sleep in his car (Toyota Tundra) which someone bought for him recently. This time because it is a rainy season all of the people go to their farms and come back late in the evening and we will engaged them with the gospel through the storying and sometime close at 11:30 pm 12 mid-night, and they come in their numbers and stay through the presentation, for four hours they will be listening to us because they love to hear the stories. We moved from village to village driving several miles to meet them at their door steps to tell them these bible stories to reach them for Christ. Evangelist Yaw Asante presenting the word of God to the people Some of the night open air crusades held

We were close to the northern Ivory Coast and the Southern Burkina Faso. We planted new churches where there no evangelical witness and visited the six churches we planted in January this year, baptized several new converts, people were delivered from demonic possession while others were healed of sickness and diseases. One remarkable miracle healing that took place was a student of a town called Yefire at Nkoranza municipality, who was attached with a strange disease and a demon; for more than two weeks this young student would not eat, drink and talk. Always quiet and very moody. For some reason no one can tell why he was not eating or drinking, yet he was not growing lean. He was brought to us to pray for him. We prayed for him and the demons left him and on the spot we gave him a smash Kenkey and he drank. He gave his life to Christ and that day he was baptized instantly. He is very well now and in the church. So far we ministered in 7 towns and villages. Nine hundred and ten (910) people heard the message in seven villages and several of them gave their lives to Jesus, at some places everybody that came to listen to us lifted their hands and surrendered to Jesus. This the student who was demonically Tracks were given to the people Possessed This a church service held under trees A shelter were church service is held

Church service THE CHALLENGES The churches there hold church services under trees and some under shelters. When we move to these villages sleeping places became very difficult except there is a school. NEEDS 1. We needs small tents 2. Construction of simple church structures as worship premises 3. We also need projectors for Jesus film project 4. We use Motor-King to convey members from far away for worship. We have one already and we need three more. 5. Three Motorbikes and more bicycles 6. Churches or individuals that can adopt a church planter to support monthly for a specific period say; six months; one year or more.

We would be grateful if any church or individual may take any of the above need to meet. PRAYER NEEDS 1. We need partners to pray for us for God to bring more labourers into the work. 2. People who would be willing to go to stay among these people, take care of these churches and plant more churches. 3. Pray for financial provision that God will give us funds to accomplish this vision. 4. We need permanent financial partners. APPRECIATION We thank everybody that help to make this trip possible and we continue to count on their partnership.
